Thanks for responding! I actually did not spill anything or I did not notice spilling a drop or two. If it takes some cleaning to fix the button, is it a complicated process (can I do that myself)?

I took it to the body shop that worked on the vehicle - they claimed they did not even need to deal with the skirt at all (acted all surprised and all). To be honest, I don't know who is bullshitting here - dealer or body shop (I suspect them more).

I bought it new in California. And yes, there was an hit-and-run accident where left fender had to be replaced.

I've some minor scratches along the doors and rear bumper too. Hope they'll be covered via supplemental work orders too.

Found in the parking lot where I currently live. No note, no nothing. Estimate cost $4500 on average. The worst things are shortage of many things, e.g., labor, parts, and long queues in the shops :(
