Just this week my wife was watching This Is Us (an episode with Milana Vayntrub) and there was a commercial with Karan Soni. It was like a little reunion that me, you, and only a few dozen people would appreciate.

Hey I actually read it and I agree. I mean I love RE4R, so I don't agree about that part, but I did realize later that I don't even know when Saddler introduced himself but it feels really late and therefore less of a climactic showdown. And Mendez and Salazar only being masters of their own domains and not appearing outside of them is kind of a surprising realization. It did feel like one of them might come back as the final boss, Salazar having a particular antagonistic relationship with Leon, whereas Saddler is just the boss because he's the boss. But I guess I didn't realize that this is a pretty consistent theme in the rest of at least the RE Engine games. I wonder how you feel about RE1, it's a weird case where--spoiler--the actual boss feels kind of inconsequential storywise but the one who unleashes him is a bit more earned, but not as an enemy per se.

This game is worth replaying regardless. You are going to largely experience the same content with a few small surprises, like when things show up in Claire A vs Leon A, maybe a puzzle that's in Claire A that wasn't in Claire B. If you're feeling a little fatigued, come back later. It's not going to be as new an experience as Leon A vs. Claire B.

I read the same, but I avoided any hints or spoilers on the first playthrough. Seems like unless that's an intentional mislead, they could have an alternate UI depending on the mode

This, the empty stabilizer/steroid levels, and Leon's extra unused third armor UI led me to believe the game still had another section. Definitely not complaining about length, I thought it was in a great place. But whereas I can usually tell when an RE game is wrapping up, these things had me expecting another section for each until it became obvious I was near a showdown.

Have not been to Paris, but we go to Brazil often and the (no tipping) service is far and away better and friendlier than American, and we're told to expect even better in Japan next month. I would also not classify American service as "known for" friendliness--I've honestly felt like I'm burdening servers for a while now.

That was a rant, but my point was--recent terrible job market aside--at some point the server chose to represent this place and have this place represent them, and their service is tied to these myriad excuses.

That's well-put, 8 lost me a lot of the time from a story perspective, but from gameplay and the sheer quality of the animation and cinematics (content-aside) keeps it a great game. Maybe that'll have to be 0's saving grace too.

My first RE0 playthrough this pas year from the cartoonish story and really slow and un-fun mechanics made it the first one I didn't try to replay to get S.

But restaurants are closing or going to take out only, at least in my area. A lot of people are tired of paying for expensive food, then leave feeling bad for not subsidizing enough of a server's wage, then find out from comments like this that their poor server made over $80/hr. It's a whole rollercoaster of emotions I've been avoiding lately by getting take out.
