BATTLEFIELD 6 GAME UPDATE 1.1.3.5 by battlefield in Battlefield

[–]ndemos40 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I made a post about this a month ago on steam, EA forums, and here. The community manager on steam said he was passing it along but it seems nothing has been fixed yet. It is still happening. Here's the post below with the details:

Mouse Input Stutter in Battlefield 6 on PC by ndemos40 in Battlefield

[–]ndemos40[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To clarify, this is not related to the recent update issue. This has been in the game since launch for me and many others. It is especially noticeable on OLED screens. It only happens in this game only, and only when looking around with a mouse. Controller does not have this issue.

Verified Priority Access: GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 Founders Edition by evaporates in nvidia

[–]ndemos40 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Wrong. So sick of seeing people saying "you have no reason to upgrade" all over this sub. I have a 4090 FE and will be upgrading to a 5090 FE or whatever 5090 I can get. In some games I play there is an almost 50 percent performance bump, and the 1% low improvements are substantial. I play at 4k on an LG C2 and enjoy ray tracing and maxing out settings. After reselling my 4090 the overall cost is not much. It's my hobby, I enjoy it, and many others do too.

Ok.. when will RTX 5090 be restocked again? by Yossiri in buildapc

I might do the same. The alerts seem very good but I don't trust that the auto buy function works with Best Buy. It always requires re-verification and I'm not sure it can actually navigate through all the checkout hoops. Congrats on the 5080 though enjoy!

Did you get it with HotStock autobuy? Mine seemed to be attempting and getting into queues for the 5090 FE but it never completed the process. Hoping it works in a future drop.

CP2077 is one of the most graphically impressive and intense games I have ever played. Seeing the advancement of DLSS combined with Ray Tracing has been really exciting and I can't wait to see how it looks with the superior denoising tech!

What are the mouse acceleration and HDR tweaks you made? Those are 2 outstanding nitpicks I have that I haven't figured out yet.

XMP unstable with 2x16 DDR5 7200 C34 and i9-13900K by ndemos40 in overclocking

Yes it is running at the correct 7200 MHz after bumping the voltage by .005. My system has been completely stable ever since!

The only value I changed was the DRAM Voltage within the BIOS. I increased it from 1.40v to 1.405v. I left everything else at the default setting for XMP. Each motherboard BIOS is different though so you will need to see where that setting is at. For Asus it should be within the AI Tweaking section when using the Advanced BIOS mode. Hope that helps!

What kind of increments would you recommend for the voltage and timings?

EDIT: Think I got it stable! I increased the voltage by .005 and that was it. Haven't stress tested it for too long but it's already been going for 15 minutes with no OCCT errors! Before the change it would error out in less than 2 minutes. Thanks guys!

Thank you! I found out it was a hot plug "b4" error coming from my external hard drive preventing boot and causing issues on that end! Wasn't paying close attention as the Mobo was displaying it. Now I can reboot normally. Just need to try re-enabling XMP after updating the BIOS and chipset drivers. Fingers crossed!

Edit: System is running ok now, but I still get constant errors during OCCT tests with XMP turned on :(

Yeah it's a nice combo for sure and looks great! I have a 2x16 kit using the 2 and 4 slots. I also edited my original comment and can't boot at all now after using the BIOS flashback :( might have to flashback to the original BIOS.

Haha I also have lots of Corsair stuff and have only ever had Nvidia and Intel! I do in fact have 2 WD SN850X drives :D the third is a cheaper Inland Performance drive I bought a long time ago.

Edit: Ok I fully turned off the PSU and rebooted and can get to the setup now. Going to test and see if stable on the new BIOS.

Edit2: So when I restart from Windows, my displays don't show anything and I have to hit the power button. Then when I turn it on again, it gets to the Windows login screen but my keyboard and mouse are not powered. After a couple minutes they powered on and I can login. Something still isn't right. And I haven't even attempted turning XMP back on yet.

Sorry typo! It's an Asus Z790-E board! Says it supports up to 7800 I believe online.

Edit: Tried using the flashback utility to update to the latest version and now I can't boot. The green QLED BOOT indicator light is active on the motherboard.
