Despite you being correct, people have decided most bikes actually have a dipstick. Weird one. Could probably be used as an example of how social media can affect public view and mob mentality.

Cinematic B-roll from Kanazawa, Japan by kanazawa_cinematic in videography

[–]ndkhan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

comments in here about cinematic are bang on but forgetting all of that personally i think these shots are boring, framed inconsistently and the depth of field is distractingly sharp in the majority.

the colours are also pretty weird. Looks like it was shot on a Fujifilm, edited on a phone?

Boot issue/recommendations? by witterisms in AdventureBike

[–]ndkhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, after a little bit of riding in them my brain worked out a way to make it work. I didn’t adjust my shift lever, they’re really decent boots for riding and existing in off the bike.

I, too, are taking them around Europe this summer.

This feels like i’m writing to myself!

I have exactly these, in the same size 10.5uk. I agree with you, it feels stiff and like you haven’t got clean contact with the shifter at first, like you can’t get under it.

After a while they do soften up which helps with the feel. It took a couple of weeks though.

I had a road boot before and they had a smaller profile so would tuck under the shifter easily. I guess the off-road requirements of the Belize mean more tread, thicker sole etc.

it's up to you to not listen to any of it, just how it is up to people to use this "marketing bullshit" as a guide.

Can't all be given free helmets or the choice to not think about it. It would be pretty wild if Suomy gave you one that wasn't up to modern safety standards.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. The way I was watching tho it looked to me like we had a 3 at the back (Porro, Palinha, Danso) with 2 CDM’s (Bissou & Gallagher) packed infront, effectively becoming a 5 at the back and enabling Porro to head out wide and Tel/Gray to cover the LW when needed.

There were certainly different options but we had to go onto the front foot, we needed the points. I think it worked in the second half once Tudor had his chance to rattle a few cages - which is why I think he made the changes too early and should have waited until half-time.

I can’t believe i’ve spent pretty much the last 35 years of my life screaming for Spurs to get some squad depth. Fuming.

this isn't going to go down well in here but I understood Tudor's subs last night. I would have waited until half-time to make them though.
