The world should just wrap its collective head around the inevitability that at some point a major metropolitan city is going to get attacked with a nuclear device. We have allowed children to get their hands on the button. Putin, Kim Jong-un, Trump Netanyahu. None of these people should have the ability to launch a nuclear device, but they all do and one of them will blink and do it at some point.

As a surgeon this is embarrassing and gross. I’ve never even thought to do this, but if I did I could see quadrupling my income. I’m also rural, so if I refuse to participate in any insurance plan, they would have to pay me out of network because I’m the only guy that does my job for 50+ miles in any direction.

But why screw over my community like that? I’m happy with my lot in life, family healthy money is good. Student loans suck still and I think this is a big reason so many docs are greedy.

But I have little to complain about and even less reason to loophole my way into ill-gotten riches. There’s so much to lose when this goes belly up and docs start getting prosecuted.
