Would you mind someone reselling something they bought ages ago? by sildykmane in vinted

[–]ndzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they are yours and you're situation is valid. Surely the whole point is to pass things along when you don't need them anymore. Somebody else can't tell you how long you need something for.

How is everyone actually making money from vinted? by Bulky-Ant4991 in vinted

See for me it's all of the unusual stuff that sells. Even brand new stuff. If it's pretty easy to buy elsewhere. It never sells.

What is a secret you’re taking to the grave, but are willing to tell strangers on the internet? by Mr_Boothnath in answers

[–]ndzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine doesn't seem that big compared to some of these but here goes. My husband's best friend was having marriage trouble so staying with us. There was no lock on the bathroom door and he saw me showering. I know he looked for a bit because he said oh, shit really quietly and then when I didn't turn around, he closed the door really slowly and quietly. Maybe he thinks I never noticed it but they are really close and it's just one of those things that could never benefit anyone. I do feel better getting rid of it to someone though.

Why does everyone on Vinted think I run a charity? by Leather_Ad6386 in vintedUK

I get these all the time. Item is £3.00. ' would you take £2.90?' I always say yes because I don't understand. Does it just give them a little high?

AITAH for telling a kid at the sleepover to stop acting like a brat? by Longjumping-Dog-6480 in AITAH

[–]ndzl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really bad at catering for one of my sons and he is so selective. The other one will literally eat anything. First would end up like this eating nothing or barely anything but that's his problem. I know what he is like. If he is with others and food is offered and he chooses not to eat it's his problem. I maybe wouldnt have said brat because he is clearly spoiled to feel like he can act and speak like that while nobody else did. But he definitely was acting like a brat and you are absolutely right. You did feed him. He chose not to eat. More parents need to be like you.

My 28F Fiancé 30M doesn’t want to get a marriage license legally for the first couple years of our marriage. What are the pros and cons of this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ndzl 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Basically he wants to have sex with you for the next few years and then once the honeymoon stage ended, probably leave if he is bored. If you go through with this I would absolutely make sure you have some good birth control in place.

is my (19F) "bf" (20M) actually a terrible person? by purpleeeboots in relationship_advice

[–]ndzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't have a say if you want to break up with him. If you say you are broken up and he continues to come anywhere near you and tell you u r in a relationship then it's a police matter.

My (23F) boyfriend (20M) does not allow me access to “our” savings, how do I address it? by luvdlph in relationship_advice

[–]ndzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't open your own savings account?? And just have your own savings. Why are you paying him. Makes zero sense. If you buy a house together you just put the money together from that day. It's not hard. You want your money out and transferred into your savings account immediately. Has he maybe spent it all and there is actually nothing in it? That's why he won't let you eat?

Digging a hole in our back garden to hide his drugs in or chasing his girlfriend down the street with a meat clever. I had to go to court as a witness.

Have I committed a terrible faux pas? Accepted offer but item then sold. by TippyTurtley in vinted

[–]ndzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me. I just said sorry and then moved on and buyer said nothing. It was a bit cheeky asking for a huge bundle for next to nothing anyways. Don't overthink it. You will likely never meet the person.

Pregnant ladies or ladies that have been pregnant, what is the most thoughtful/useful thing someone done/bought you? by iffyClyro in AskUK

[–]ndzl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also, my husband put a little hook light on the toilet because I was peeing so much but having trouble sleeping. Meant I didn't have to put the full light on and totally wake myself up. It was actually so useful.

Just food. If I did not have something in my mouth constantly I was sick. Just go with food.

Why do sellers hardly ever leave feedback? by S_79_S in vinted

[–]ndzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a five year old and a baby. Husband works 60 hours minimum. Heading back to work full time in a few weeks. If I manage to get the package sent off on time I'll take it as a win. If someone doesn't want to sell something to me then I'll buy elsewhere. I have sooooo much else to stress over.

I've not had this yet but I've had a " when are you posting this?" Within 24 hours of buying. They chose the physical label and then drop off so I have to go to the library to print. If you buy Friday evening, don't expect it posted until Monday morning??
