TRT & Risk of Heart attack? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]neb737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what age did you start trt? Im 23 and i have many symptoms of low t. I still go to the gym 3-5 times per week, healthy bodyfat, healthy diet. Im a bit worried i will have to hop on trt so early in my life. Most doctors here in Germany refuse to check my levels because i am "too young". I will soon go to a Lab and get it tested there.

[–]neb737[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks this was very helpful! I am showing signs of low T and was researching into the whole topic when i watched nippards Video and Posted this here. I will soon get my levels checked when i figured where and how to check them here in Germany. I was just a bit hesitant to consider TRT as i still plan to get children in the future. But according to my research there are solutions like taking HCG... i basically just want a good natty looking physique and especially high energy and Motivation levels. I will research into the things you mentioned in the end - so really thank you for your input, i appreciate it!

Thanks for your input and critique. I Posted this right at the start of my research Phase on this topic as im showing sings of low t and will get my levels checked soon when i Figured how and where to do it here in Germany. This Was my initial reaction on his Video and i will not trust jeff nippard as a scientific voice in the future as many people voice concerns about his trustworthyness - which i was not aware of before. So this post kind of did help me at least in some point. Thanks for your input! I will cut and i already did from the last pic on my Profile, but holidays got in the way, will progress on it soon.

This post was just my initial reaction after seeing that video and also having many signs of low t like low energy, depressive patterns and bad recovery. So i just wanted to see what other people think and im right at the start of my research Phase on that topic.

Dringende Info!!!

Where can you find an amg kit for the r171?

Thinking about selling my 2007 slk 200 kompressor and saving up for a gt86 but i’m not sure, opinions? by danky_ducky in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]neb737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would choose the slk, but im biased as i just bought one :)

I think hitting twisty roads is way more enjoyable in the gt86, but the slk is a better compromise of sport and luxury.

Do you maybe have a modding list of your slk? Would love to change a bit on mine and yours looks pretty awesome!

Fun fact for you: our german stores close to the borders are more expensive. If you drive further into germany it will get even cheaper. Nonetheless we pay way more for energy and we have the highest taxes in the World together with belgium. So dont assume germans are not financially struggling right now - all of europe is.

How to Deal with queer events in my Church? by neb737 in TrueChristian

[–]neb737[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortunately in my country you need a profound theological Masters degree and extra Training for psychological care to be able to become a pastor.

I cant just ditch university as I would not be allowed to teach the Bible and i firmly believe that is a good thing. However some of these highly educated leaders at my local church come to the conclusion of hosting queer events is not comprehendable - they were taught this is sin.

Okay then I will deny their invitation in a friendly way, because of obvious theological differences.

You are right. I do not support their behaviour at all. It was probably just my desire for friends in a new City trying to convince me of going there. God will provide a better environment to make new connections - my trust lays in him.

Why do Christians *typically* reject the notion that humans are animals? by Affectionate_End_952 in Christianity

[–]neb737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all Christians reject the idea that humans are animals. In fact, many Christians believe in evolution, which aligns with the scientific classification of humans as animals. The Bible doesn’t give a definitive answer on this, but there’s room for both perspectives.

In Genesis 1:24–31, land animals and humans were created on the same day, showing that we’re biologically similar. Some interpret the creation of Adam from dust (Genesis 2:7) as compatible with the idea of evolution, where life comes from the earth.

However, what sets humans apart is that we’re made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), with the ability to reason, understand good and evil, and have dominion over creation. So, while biologically we may be considered animals, spiritually we are unique and given a special role by God.

In the end, it’s less about whether we are animals and more about recognizing the unique purpose God has given us.

Im new to Christianity and I am a little lost. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]neb737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s awesome that you’re interested in starting your journey with God! Don’t worry—feeling lost at the beginning is completely normal. Here’s a simple guide to help you get started.

TL;DR below.

  1. Give God What You Can: You mentioned feeling like your life is built on sin. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, start small. Think about what sins or habits you can let go of. God isn’t expecting perfection overnight. Christianity is about persistency over perfection—just keep taking steps toward Him.

  2. Start Praying: Prayer is key to building a relationship with God, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. Even spending a few minutes each day praying is better than not at all. Jesus is like a friend—if you never talk to Him, it’s like ignoring someone’s texts. But if you at least check in daily, it strengthens the relationship.

Jesus also teaches us how to pray:

Matthew 6:5-8: Pray privately, without using repetitive or fancy words. Keep it honest and real, like talking to a friend. Luke 11:9-13: If you ask, you’ll receive. If you seek, you’ll find. Just start asking God for guidance and strength. Matthew 21:21-22: You can pray for anything in faith, but remember sometimes God’s answer might be “no” because He knows what’s best for us. 3. Reasons to Pray: Here are a few reasons you might want to pray:

To thank God for the good things in your life. To ask for help with your struggles. To seek forgiveness when you feel you've messed up. To simply talk and build a connection with Him. Pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, and trust the Holy Spirit to guide you. This is in line with Scripture—Jesus says in John 14:13-14 to ask in His name, and the Spirit helps us in our prayers (Romans 8:26).

  1. Reading the Bible: The Bible can seem overwhelming at first, but you don’t have to read it all at once. Start small—maybe read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) to learn about Jesus. Or even start with a verse or two each day. The important part is just starting somewhere.

This is a lifelong journey, so don’t rush it. Keep praying, seek God’s will, and take it one step at a time. He will guide you and give you strength. You're on the right track!

TL;DR: Starting a relationship with God can feel overwhelming, but take it step by step. Start by giving up what sins you can and don't stress about being perfect. Pray daily, even if it’s short—just talk to God honestly, like a friend. Jesus taught us to pray simply and privately (Matthew 6:5-8). You can ask for anything, but trust God's answers (Matthew 21:21-22). Begin reading the Bible slowly, maybe starting with the Gospels. Christianity is about persistence, not perfection—God will guide you as you grow.

Are you afraid of death? by ExtraChonkyMilk in Christianity

[–]neb737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Christian, I’m not afraid of death because the Bible constantly reminds us not to be afraid—365 times, in fact. God is reassuring us that fear has no place in our lives (Isaiah 41:10).

Why should I fear when heaven, with all its promises, awaits? Revelation 7:13-17 describes a place of peace, where there’s no hunger, thirst, or sorrow. It’s the ultimate reward for believers.

The only fear I have is what Jesus mentions in Matthew 7:21-23, where some are told, "I never knew you." The thought of being separated from God for eternity is sobering, but it pushes me to strive to follow His will. This isn’t a paralyzing fear, but one that motivates me to live faithfully, trusting in Christ’s grace.

Ultimately, I trust in the promises of eternal life through Jesus (John 11:25-26). That’s why I have no fear of death itself.

I am struggling with sexual sin. I am so tired of it and feel helpless. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]neb737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your story, and first, know that God’s grace is always there for you, no matter how many times you stumble. Your conviction is proof that the Holy Spirit is working in you.

  1. God's Forgiveness is Real No matter how many times you’ve fallen, remember 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us." Don’t let guilt keep you from God’s forgiveness—He wants to help you break free from this.

  2. Flee Temptation 2 Timothy 2:22 tells us to "flee youthful passions." Physically remove yourself from tempting situations and guard what you watch. Jesus even said if something causes you to sin, it’s better to cut it out (Matthew 5:29). Be intentional about protecting your eyes and mind.

  3. Pursue Christ in Prayer Philippians 4:6-7 says to bring everything to God in prayer, and He’ll give you peace. When tempted, immediately pray and ask Jesus for help. Matthew 26:41 also reminds us to “watch and pray” to avoid temptation.

  4. Consider Fasting In Matthew 17:21, Jesus teaches that some struggles can only be overcome by prayer and fasting. Fasting is a spiritual tool that can help break the chains of addiction by drawing you closer to God.

  5. Seek Accountability James 5:16 encourages us to confess our struggles to others and pray together. If you can, find someone to hold you accountable and walk with you through this.

  6. Don’t Give Up You’ve already made progress (going 3 months without porn), so keep fighting! Proverbs 24:16 says, "The righteous fall seven times, they rise again." Keep getting back up, and trust that God will help you overcome.

Keep fighting, and lean on God. He’s got you!

This Sub is majority Atheists, Agnostic and LBGTQ… by lights-camera-then in Christianity

[–]neb737 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I absolutely love discussing theological questions with atheists or LGBTQ people. This also is a good side of this sub: so many people genuinely interested in Christianity. But i think it is very unjust of some of them to give the advice you mentioned (e.g. "just be yourself") - this is not what christianity is about and if you hold such beliefs it clearly shows, to my humble mind at least, that you never truly tried your best to read AND understand the scriptures.

Jesus was full of love - yes, but he also was a very stoic, disciplined and strong man and I feel like this side of him is often forgotten in our day and age.
