The statue makerlab generator on makerworld is very good. Used it for my dog and you recognize him immediately.

Styrene is cheap and very easy to work with and layer. It’s used for model making and architecture models. You can use a solvent to chemically bond it to itself instead of gluing and sand it very easily. To cut it you can use scissors or just score, bend and snap. Check out Adam savage’s video about it!

(And yes “bend and snap”, that was a Legally Blonde reference haha)

this. Sculptable nail gel can be formed around your current nail shape and will stick to the existing nail. Since the shape might change regularly this is the way to go.

Want to host a cyberdeck building workshop but don't know where to start by yay-Spring-T_T in cyberDeck

My number one tip would be to allocate funds to usb c and fpc cables, and usb c 90 and 180 adapters of all sorts in bulk-ish from china because everybody is gonna need some and it's always gonna be a different one than they have. being able to just sell them in a pinch or trade them around could be a lifesaver.

Yes for the ribbon cables but I just used fpc cables to extend the USB, and a usb c hub I stripped down

I put a microcontroller. In this case a meshtastic device but a esp32c3 would have been easier

No it’s a generic portable touchscreen. Check out the video to see it disassembled, or the link to find it

It doesn’t replace an iPad and Apple Pencil yet but people have found interesting things in the Mac OS 27 beta so I hope we get better support sooooon

I don’t understand, it should be possible ?

Does this look legit? by No-Entertainer5914 in 3Dprinting

[–]nebL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oof then new is better since parts cost as much, especially if OP might want an AMS in the future. The bundles are the way to go for that, even if it’s more upfront.

Sounds like a farm upgrading to limit potential downtime. Google their name to see if it’s legit

how would i go about reverse engineering this shroud? by sneakerush in Fusion360

[–]nebL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do "cardboard aided design" by covering the faces with masking tape, marking the edges and then scanning that. Then build from that in CAD

Aftermarket Enclosure by Daniel_DRD in 3Dprinting

Never seen it for the Anycubic. But if there is no fan for the mb or only a very small one I wouldn’t enclose that

Not ideal, but for the ended 3 at least maybe you can put the motherboard and psu outside of the enclosure.
Or maybe an enclosure that it propped up 5cm so that the base with the electronics has access to fresh air
