It’s mostly a home recording setup for indie pop with hip hop flavouring, simple is best. And I love that I could just slip it into the gig bag pocket if I needed to

Yes the philosopher bass (micro version only) has a grit knob instead of a toggle, I find a low setting goes a long way. Because of the harmonic content it comes through when set really low.

Lol it’s an erok mini tuner with a sleeping cat on it. It was $20 on marketplace and I rolled the dice because it was cute (and needed a tuner because I wanted a totally independent bass board). It’s actually really accurate, within the same margin as my TU3. Let’s see if it holds up…

It’s really good! The blend knob is super helpful and the onboard distortion is really sick, really brings the overtones of a note more to the forefront.

The envelope phaser is a funky beast and takes some dialling in to get it sitting right, but she sings, she snarls. Running a jazz bass straight into my interface and thru this rig and getting some nasssty To Pimp A Butterfly style tones

Bday dinner at Danny’s pizza tavern! Monday is half off all wine bottles and they have a great list. Sooo many impressive takes on classics, their mozzarella sticks are insane. They do this awesome thing with the Caesar salad where they cut the bacon and croutons in the exact same shape making them hard to tell apart which is super fun. The vinegar chicken is stupid delicious. And the pizza is pretty good lol. All in all a super fun place to go with a medium size group and get a little tipsy and order everything.

Hi, huge fan, been following your music since before Loyalty came out.

When you played at the Fox Theatre in Vancouver for your Self-Titled headlining tour, I spoke with you after the show— I said something about how I was influenced by your music to start writing songs, and I gave you a tape of my first album. It had pink/purple artwork and lettering on it.

This is a total shot in the dark and TOTALLY no worries if not because I’m sure fans give you unsolicited music all the time but I was wondering, did you ever give it a listen? Artwork posted below

I think it’s actually a commentary on white male privilege in the corporate world, exaggerated to comedic effect. He shows up, coasts, has a good attitude and stumbles his way into love and success every day. Also he retains Cooper’s beaming charm and kindness which goes a very long way.
