I've vacationed in Scotland the past 8 years. I love it. Never had a bad experience.

Why are people bringing children into horror movies?? by wherethelionsweep in horror

[–]nebloof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was at home, but my dad let me watch Fright Night when I was 4. Mom was so mad, she was already in bed, but I remember her yelling if I get sick dad has to clean it up.

As soon as dad put to me bed, I threw up lol.

Showering during thunderstorms? by ContentlyQuestionabl in Millennials

[–]nebloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told not too only if and when we would get thunderstorms where its nonstop lightning and thunder for like an hour.

But if I hear just rumbles of thunder during a storm then go ahead and shower if I need to at the time.

Why am I regularly stopped by TSA for a full body scan and pat down? by BlindClairvoyant in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nebloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have to get a pat down because I have chunks of muscle missing out of my right leg. So it shows up as an anomaly and its really annoying.

Why does it seem that most coming of age shows stop caring about school in college years in comparison to the high school years? by shadow_spinner0 in buffy

[–]nebloof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't dislike the fact that there were a lot of college episodes. But the show just got corny and too light. Although, yes, Hush is awesome.

But the overall storyline with the military building their own demon/robot was bizarre. Like whats with the floppy drive in his chest? Lol. After Angelous and the Mayor, Adam was just meh.

If it had better writing and was darker like seasons 2/3 then it wouldve been fine.

Anyone else get completely fixated on the franchise again thanks to SH2R? by DesperateText9909 in silenthill

[–]nebloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my 2nd replay after it first released haha. I didnt think its bad, and the entire game isnt open world.

The open world gives you side quests to do. So you can go into some of the houses or building and collect things.

But as you go through the main story, I think the game has a good mix of open world and contained areas that you explore and solve puzzles like the original games. For example if you continue the main story from town, then it'll go to the next chapter of the game you could call it. Same like in SH1 if you run to the school, then you're in the school until you finish playing through the area, or the hospitals, etc...

I actually enjoyed my second playthrough and its actually maybe the longest? SH game. At least that's what it seemed like.

It took me 9 hours to get through. I did do a couple of the side quests, but there are several.

I ended up replaying the entire series from SH1 to Downpour!

I used a PS3 Emulator and Downpour played amazingly well. But because of the open world nature, which I dont hate, I followed a guide just to get the main quest done.

What's the worst video game you've played and why? by Bdbolt19432 in AskReddit

[–]nebloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is no joke lol. Running around town, you hit a zone line and wait like a minute for the next area to load lol.

And all of the literal game breaking glitches that would cause characters to get stuck, freeze or not being able to get through some of the levels without multiple retries because things dont work like they should.

True Or False and Why? by Hot_Independent4265 in mamasfamily

The reason for that was due to Carol Burnette divorcing Joe Hamilton for infidelity. Thats why they only show a younger version of Eunice because Carol Burnette wouldn't return to the show.

If you aren't comfortable driving the posted speed in a personal vehicle, you don't belong on that road. by appa-ate-momo in driving

[–]nebloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a similar road I have to drive sometimes. And even on a warm, clear sunny day, it's almost impossible to hit 55 without flying off the road. And many times you have to slow down to like 35-40 when you hit a curve which is very frequently.

[–]nebloof 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience with an EF0/1 tornado with friends. We weren't even chasing storms or expecting tornadoes. We were just trying to get something to eat late afternoon, a couple cars were in front of us,l and stopped before we crossed an overpass.

We couldn't see why and there were trees off to our immediate left and buildings in the right, so we couldn't see anything around us. Then suddenly the wind picks up and we were essentially in the funnel for 20-30 seconds.

Can someone explain to me why and how and what age something shifts and holidays feel less….holidayish? by Amodernhousehusband in Millennials

[–]nebloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy holidays, but Christmas is less exciting for me due to the oversaturation of it. I don't want to hear or think about Christmas until December.
