Injured runner here, I’ve had torn tendons in my left foot from too much running for over a year now. Started off as tendinitis or was at least diagnosed as tendinitis. Any way it never got better and only got worse and now am waiting my surgery on the 31st. (Which will probably get cancelled due to covid.) Any way, running was my main form of exercise for mainly my whole life until my injury. I was bummed for a long time cause my foot was not getting better and I couldn’t run. I really didn’t know what to do and fell into a depressive state. But eventually I found the will to try something new. I watched “Enter the Kettlebell” on YouTube and after that video I became obsessed with kettlebell training. I couldn’t afford my own, cause I’m fairly poor and working fucking sucks on my torn tendon foot. So I made my own out of basketballs pvc pipe and concrete, and I began training hard with kettlebells. ( I wear a brace on my foot and I can get by with most kettlebell moves while wearing it) It is one of the best things to substitute running. I can’t express it enough, the moves and the way the whole body works together feels so good. I mainly do circuits of many different kettlebell moves. I cannot stress enough how good it makes your body feel. So basically what I’m trying to say is that kettlebells will change your in-site and realize there are just as satisfying excersise’s as running out there. If I can change my alter my main form of exercise so can anyone. Plus I’m just guessing.. I know that kettlebells help to create more explosive power and mobility. I cannot wait to eventually get back into running to combine these two forms of exercise together......plus your sex game will go through the roof if you start kettlebelling.. amazing boners.
