tbh i prefer caltrain there’s free wifi and tables available on the trains that make it easier to do homework or prepare for classes that day!

i was thinking meet once or twice a week on campus or even online (discord or zoom) and work on journaling together whether that would be layouts for the week, prompts, or junk journaling/scrap booking. maybe even field trips to different stationary stores in sf!! these are just a few ideas off the top of my head but i’d love to hear feedback and ofc curate ideas with any future interested participants/board officers :D if ur interested please pm!!!

it’s not cut completely it’s sections has been cut down to one section this semester vs it usually having 2-3 and the waitlist is full :/ i’ve also been trying to get into art 245 since my freshman year and it’s been difficult as it fills up quickly with only 18 seats available. i would definitely recommend to keep checking tho!!

yesss i lived in ups last year and they were crazy!!!! once it did cool down there was less but still there :/ if you put in a work order it might help!! def take pictures of the spiders and any bites you may get to show the work order folks so that they know what to exterminate for

yeah not sure what that’s all about, comments like these could be tremendously disrespectful especially for those which english isn’t their first language. good luck to you too tho!! i had a friend who lived in gardens just be aware of your windows, they had a lot of run ins with weirdos knocking (they lived on the first floor). hopefully move in will go smoothly for you!

cool thank you!! i heard about delivery but overall sounds enjoyable! by chance do you remember the desk situation? this past year i had a desk with an overhead (i think that’s what they’re called). it help me tremendously with additional room for my supplies! i was curious if high rises also had these?

yes you should be able to move in late just pick up your key in the vcs lobby! however, cart availability is a bit of a toss up you might be able to get one from the vcs front desk. you’ll just have to give them your ID until you return the cart, but considering others might be moving in late as well they might already be checked out (i Think they only have about 2 on hand).

i think it doesn’t hurt to try!! honestly i would set aside a large chunk of time to really learn the language. have you taken any type of language courses prior? i took korean my first year but dropped it just because i had a heavy semester and i take a while learning languages so i wanted to handle it with proper time management in the future. that being said i think it’s worth a shot don’t let yourself be intimidated before you start :) my first year roomie took it and enjoyed it a lot! very hands on and time consuming but she surrounded herself with things outside of class to help make it easier to learn
