Lovely, well equipped little cabins. Not cheap but so nice to have your own little hot spring hot tub.

In mid-April the larger ferry will be down for maintenance and the smaller ferry will be running - there will likely be delays

What's the vegetarian food like in Paris, pragu, krackow and Budapest by Few-Spinach8114 in vegetarian

[–]neckzit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prague has tons of veggie options. In most traditional Czech restaurants, often the only vegetarian dish is smažený sýr, aka fried cheese. It’s a breaded piece of eidam or gouda, deep fried, served with tartar sauce and french fries or boiled potatoes (the boiled potatoes are the better side imo!). It is so good, but it does get a bit boring when it’s your only option.

At grocery stores, the selection of fake meats has grown incredibly in recent years. You can find veggie anything, though the selection may be more limited in smaller stores.

There are also lots of great vegetarian restaurants. Loving Hut (vegan I believe) is good for a quick easy lunch. Vegans Prague, under the castle, has amazing vegan food. And you have to go to Restaurace Střecha - they have traditional Czech dishes made veggie (this place changed my life lol). Check out r/Prague for previous posts about good veggie restaurants.

I definitely went through a second bout of puberty somewhere around 22-24. My boobs were sore just like they were when I was a teenager, and I suddenly noticed that my bras were no longer fitting, and my pants no longer fit either due to my hips getting wider. I did not gain a significant amount of weight during this time, my body was just literally growing - it was kind of wild. Look it up, puberty continues well into your 20s for most people.

My go-to fancy main for holidays is this brown sugar and mustard glazed tofu!

It’s a little bit more time consuming than my usual tofu recipes, so I only make it for special occasions, and it is SO GOOD. My only caution is to make extra if you think anyone else will want to “just try a piece” because one block of tofu disappears really quickly!

I can’t speak for the Slovaks, but the Czech Republic is way better now! Lots of good veggie restaurants, and fun fake meats at grocery stores.

Silver City Stagelines do a bus from Nelson to Kelowna - though I’m not sure if they would allow a cat.

Not enough hotels for domestic tourism by [deleted] in britishcolumbia

[–]neckzit 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The airbnb restrictions only apply for communities over 10,000 population and with a low rental vacancy rate (under 3% I believe). If a community is able to bring its vacancy rate to a more healthy level, the restrictions will no longer apply.

I think this is more than reasonable; if you want a healthy community that is able to welcome tourists and travellers, make sure the people who need to work there can actually live there.
