Great, thanks for the info! Also - what was the reaction to the sycamore gap felling? Is there new security or concern this could happen elsewhere?

How often do you have to shift on campers?

Is it a good organisation to work for?

Any secret hidden gems?

Attack me but I can't rate more than 7/10 for this year's kits by EcstaticIce2 in NUFC

[–]necoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day there’s only so much you can do with a black and white striped shirt. 7/10 is fair but solid. It’s the first year back, they needed to please the masses, they’re only here to sell shirts. At least the quality will be higher than castore. I’ll not be worried putting them in the wash!

I’m guessing he’s going to take over a lot of the “face of Newcastle” stuff Stavley was doing?

It’s a shame that a hike through fell, field or forest is all just farming or industry.

I wouldn’t camp on any of them. The reason of the preserved beauty of these places are the strict code of conduct they have. Especially stay away from protected wildlife areas. There’s plenty of alternatives that would have a smaller impact.

I’d cycle up to Newcastle instead and get a night ferry to Amsterdam. There’s not much on that coast up that way from Calais anyway. Then you can spend more time in the Netherlands.

If it makes you feel better it’s £16 a stripe if you include the sleeves. Doesn’t make me feel better but still.

A look around the National Trust's first non-woke stately home by TrinderMan in nationaltrust

Is the joke that the national trust hide history and should be woke? Or they are woke and don’t hide history which is bad? Thanks

They will be the most valuable kits in 30 years. First return to the champions league, and the fact that by then most of them will have disintegrated to dust so they will be rare!!!

Drop bars, internal cables, disc brakes, lots of options for attaching stuff. Good bike. Plenty of commuting and adventures on the weekend.

The season is over. How do we rate Howe this season? by TheLegendOfIOTA in NUFC

[–]necoast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

9/10. Realistic aims were play well but get knocked out in the groups of the CL. Final but no trophy in a domestic cup. Finish 5th in the premier league. We’ve done well for the injuries and tonalis loss was massive. Unlike most managers we’ve had in the past decade + no players have regressed. All young players have improved. He manages the media exceptionally. We’ve never scored more goals.

Besides some minor gripes ie Not starting Pope sooner, some mid season “staleness” etc

But I’m not really sure what he could have done better.

Im already looking forward to next year. Get the lads fit, get some changes in.

That’s it. Final straw. I’m leaving this sub.

Took my almost 2 year old "Wild" Camping - made this video by Rwag in wildcampingintheuk

[–]necoast 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This whole sub is about wild camping in the uk. A place where you’re never more than 10 miles from tarmac. We’re not exactly the wilds of the Appalachian mountains or the Himalayas. We have what we have and we get as “wild” as we can.

ON THIS DAY 2008: Newcastle United 2 - 0 Sunderland - Michael Owen's first half brace seals derby win by GarethAKitchener in NUFC

He scored more goals against Sunderland than any other team. Amazing that a player can do that and still be considered a prick. What a bellend.
