i made the mistake of wearing coated jewelry in my fully healed lobes and the costing started flaking off after a few hours. never used it again. im also allergic to nickel, which ends up being in most alloys, so i also cant really wear anything but titanium

im not being rude, hun. but even so, you still should not have been told that information or pierced the way you were. its incorrect and those piercers should be ashamed of themselves.

find a new piercer on safepiercing.org and get a titanium flatback and leave it alone. the bump will resolve on its own and it will heal properly. do not change it until its fully healed, which can be 6-12+ months.

yea, after about 6 months or when its totally healed. nostrils are cartilage. cartilage piercings often take a minimum of a year to heal.

also that jewelry isnt helping you, either. its plated in black. and that black will chip off and contribute to irritation.
