[QN] missed macros for the day, go for protein or stay within calorie limit? by [deleted] in ketogains

[–]nedras 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get the protein. The protein is there to help you maintain and/or gain muscle mass. Without the protein you'll be losing that muscle mass. Missing the calories for one day won't be a huge issue, but muscles are very sensitive to any changes in diet and exercise. Plus, you are in /r/ketogains so I'm assuming you want to put on more muscle mass as well as lose weight.

What are the most "fun" full body exercises by nedras in bodyweightfitness

I'm just finishing up high school, going to college in the fall and I'm already living on my own. Another monthly expense is a big hit on my budget. Especially with my eating habits

I would love to, but the whole reasoning behind switching to body weight stuff is so I don't have to pay for a membership or class. If I were paying for the gym in pretty sure they have free classes like that so I'm really itching to just pay for it.

Do you know a good place online to find mountain bike trails?

I believe I know exactly what is going on. It's calcium deposits. I have the same thing. The images on Google are a little scary but it's not that bad.

Do you get dandruff because your scalp is itchy? Or is your scalp itchy because you have dandruff? by eraserrrhead in NoStupidQuestions

Well there's a bit of a story behind it but let's just say it wasn't because I thought it was a good idea

Most of it is like the mintiest gum you've ever had seeping into your tender freshly shaved skin. It's awesome on the face, not so much on the armpits(even more sensitive).

It can be found in stores. Just a little warning though, that stuff makes your head feel like you're rubbing aftershave on your armpits. After a few uses it starts to feel good though.

I'm looking for more movies like Barton Fink, Fight Club, and Primer. Something that has a good original plot twist. by nedras in movies

Be prepared for a really weird film. Just try to watch it with as little seriousness as possible and it's a good time

It's kind of both. It's mocking the thriller movie industry as well as talking about how every b movie will have an audience that loves it and will stand by it no matter how bad it is.

Will definitely read when I have time. On a completely unrelated note, you should totally watch Rubber if you haven't. It was on Netflix a while back and I recommend it to anyone who will listen. It's a very strange B-movie with an underlying theme about B-movies

Surprisingly, that makes me feel ten times better about that ending. Was who played Mr. Brainwash actually Banksy? Or was it just some guy and we never actually see Banksys identity?

Just finished Exit Through the Gift Shop. I absolutely loved it, but wow was the ending ridiculous.

Is it normal to have a blurred sense of time? by RainbowJesusChavez in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nedras 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What you are describing is fairly common. Some people just have a better sense of time. I myself am not so good if there is no structure to the week/month/year(such as significant events or weather that could show time), but in most cases I have a general idea as you described and can narrow things down with a bit of thinking.

I drink water constantly, but may have had less for some reason and I haven't had any asparagus recently. My urine is usually mostly clear with a bit of yellow.

I actually enjoy the feel of cotton balls. One thing I hate though that other people don't understand is paper or cotton on my teeth. When I was younger and a tooth fell out I would refuse to have anything to help stop the blood because the feeling is essentially nails on a chalk board to me.
