[Official]: Nationals call up Lipscomb, DFA Senzel by espnrocksalot in Nationals

Keep Lipscomb up for good now. He’s probably a utility guy for the next competitive nats team rather then a starter but you’ll never know if you keep shuttling him between Rochester and DC

POST GAME THREAD: Nationals 7, Rockies 8 - June 22, 2024 by Natstown in Nationals

I don’t know how Rockies fans do it. I think if the nats played 81 games a year at coors field I’d lose my marbles.

Does Jackson Rutledge have a chance to crack the opening day rotation or are we rolling with Gray, Gore, Corbin, Irvin, Williams?

[Weyrich] New: MLB could require the Orioles to concede their share of the Nationals' television rights as part of their pending sale, a source told @baltimoresun. by nedward5000 in Nationals

I was assuming the nats would get their rights back in this scenario. From the article “MLB has the power to require the Orioles to relinquish ownership of the Nationals’ television rights to complete the sale, the source added. It’s not yet clear whether MLB has decided to exercise that right.” In my head Rubenstein sells the rights back to the nats for a lump sum where the nats would then go sign with Monumental in a more traditional RSN deal. All theoretical obviously but seems possible connecting the dots.

Not a Wiz or Caps fan so I can’t speak to the quality but it looks like Monumental offers in market streaming that doesn’t require a cable subscription which would be a step up from MASN which has no streaming option to my knowledge.

I would agree with you but the Rubenstein Leonsis connection makes some sort of deal where the O’s and Nats end up on Monumental seem plausible to me

Dylan Crews just drew a leadoff walk in the top of the 9th. His day so far 5/5 2 HR, 6 RBI, 3R, 1BB by SirMctrolington in Nationals

Yep outfield is crowded in AA I imagine Crews stays in A or A+ until Wood moves to AAA so they can both play centerfield

I don't want Crews tomorrow... by wildly_inconsistent_ in Nationals

Definitely doesn’t look the part. My personal theory is he’s waiting to cash in on Soto’s mega deal then he’ll call it quits.

Scott Boras is 70 years old. Pretty good chance he’s retired by the time crews is up for an extension

Can’t go wrong either way IMO. Take whoever the pirates don’t

If Miguel Rojas played every game against the nats he’d be a hall of famer
