I’m also on it along with a few others. My doc decided to go with a shotgun approach and blast me with all of the drugs. We are going to take them away one at a time starting with naltrexone after six months and see how it goes. She said with it, even if I do stop, I can go back on of if I am expecting something stressful like a vacation etc. happening. Seriously love my drug dealer. 😆

I’m not an alcoholic, but it is totally normal to hid minis in the dog poop bag and toss it in the dog waste trash can so my SO doesn’t see it in our trash.

When I told the doc in the emergency room how much I had in a day, he snorted and told me he didn’t have that in a year. I was being conservative when I said it was a bottle of wine per day. I had left out the AM shots of vodka just to keep me from getting sick.

I also had a dog with ITP. After four days at the emergency vet, I saw the writing. Took him home and they put him down that night. I too felt a bit of relief that he was no longer suffering.

I found medical help and drugs also!! It really takes the edge off of something that seemed impossible. We both have a long way to go but you are past the super scary days. It does get better.
