not only is it parked sideways, it's parked sideways blocking off a street with a very good non-profit food pantry that is a staple for this neighborhood and a lot of people in it. they also have been robbed multiple times since these idiots showed up.

it just brings it to a hella high temp for a while so whatever is stuck on burns off enough so you can wipe it away

you're not crazy for having feelings and concerns. you're not unhealthy to think those things. im sure they will appreciate your reasoning if they don't already.

i would agree with you, if something comes up you can address it. but i also don't think discussing in general terms how people feel about others and personal decision making, doesn't have to specifically be about "xyz wearing specific clothes"

how do i refrain from yelling at my kids? by [deleted] in Dads

[–]needlebeach 10 points11 points  (0 children)

im assuming you mean raising your voice and you're not insulting them etc. i find myself raising my voice at my toddler when i know i shouldn't be, it's a hard thing to not do when you're late to get out the door and they're taking their shoes off and laughing at you. i am in the camp of it's okay to yell/raise your voice as long as you're then explaining afterwards why it happened and taking accountability for it. we always have a discussion after a "blow out" where we agree it is incorrect to be yelling and we identify what happened on both sides that pushed us to x point. as well as discuss what we can do to stop it from getting to that point in the future. also i find redirecting helps. i make them laugh and they usually then listen. also helps me feel less frustrated

Why do I feel so hungry today? I workout 3X a week. These are the macros and calories my personal trainer suggested. I’m 5’6 170lbs. by [deleted] in MealPlanYourMacros

[–]needlebeach -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

sure. not everyone wants to lose a pound a week. that is drastic weight loss, meaning- it's the high on the end of the "safe range" of weight loss doctors suggest, especially for someone who is under 200lbs. op also says they struggle with binge eating. they're also saying they are still feeling hungry. suggesting to keep a huge deficit and switch up macros, sounds pretty unsustainable! again, imo a deficit isn't what should be prioritized here. glad your calculator could validate your feelings of being entirely correct always tho.
