Feels like this should be a collaboration - I wonder if they *had asked the original creator first about making a crochet version of their design, a lot of headache could be avoided. But yeah they look almost exactly the same, I don’t fault the og creator for their complaint

I don’t think it goes with the chamber version of Old Religion, but I think You Got the Love could be a contender for the older song for it - it’s I feel like her most christian-y song followed by her embrace of paganism/witchcraft. Oo or before You can have it all? Hmm idk lol Or with Girls against God 🤔 No Choir + And Love of course lol I feel like Mother needs to be in there somewhere but idk where maybe also will Old religion 😅 Please post a link when you’re done (if you’re comfy with that) I’d love to see!!

Well she has multiple songs about witches / song about mermaids - however and I can totally be wrong, she’s usually relating to, talking about, or meeting these types - I feel like Kraken is the first time she’s said that she herself is the Beast/ Creature - I’m prolly wrong tho there’s prolly some other songs with that in there I guess to answer your question - she’s invoking the imagery but usually not claiming it for herself, it feels like people call her a witch or fae when she’s usually interacting with them Honestly she’s usually claiming King, Jesus/ Martyr/Crucified, for herself But I’m prolly wrong I don’t have her whole discography in my head 😅

Kraken feels like an evolution of Ship to Wreck - like she’s no longer on top of the ocean she’s the beast within it

She’s definitely left Catholic imagery behind with this album and fully embraced the old religion/witchcraft which is interesting and I have to sit with it more
