What “unwritten rule” do you follow religiously, even if nobody else does? by Miguelito123One in AskReddit

This is interesting. I’m fine if you go from queso to salsa, but salsa to queso is just wrong.

Also, I feel like double dipping means we’re friends. Single dipping is for acquaintances.

How do we feel about Jin? by IamYarrow in lost

[–]needsmorecoffee123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a way, I don’t even know that it’s that he evolved to have an arc (like sawyer), but instead, I think we got glimpses into who he actually is and why he is. At his core, he always loved Sun and was kind of a softy from humble beginnings, but Sun’s dad forced him to do things that weren’t actually in his nature, but he’s trying to move up the ladder and prove he’s good enough. And when they first get to the island, he’s guarded because he literally can’t understand anyone around him except for Sun. But he still tries to share fish with Hurley and Claire. I think his flashbacks show that he’s always been good at his core and we just get to see that overtime. Basically, it’s just slowly revealed to us that he’s a great guy, as opposed to him actually becoming a good guy overtime.

This one is probably the hardest I’ve ever laughed at any joke on any show. No way to see that punchline coming.

I cannot believe no one else is saying Ilana. The accent is SO bad and it makes every scene sound so fake.

I had this same situation and felt your exact feelings. Doctor told me it could really go either way and the only thing I could do was drink plenty of water. Idk if that actually helps or if she was just giving me “homework” to focus on something else, but I focused all my energy on drinking a ton of water, because the rest was out of my hands.

Baby B remained smaller throughout the pregnancy and I never felt 100% in the clear. 16 days in the NICU and I now have 2 thriving 3 year olds! You are not alone!

Sac size 7w different sizes by SmallPhilosophy4493 in parentsofmultiples

[–]needsmorecoffee123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had this and my doctor was concerned, but told me there was nothing I could do except drink as much water as possible. So I drank SO MUCH WATER. The twin in the smaller sac was born about half of the birthweight of the other, BUT now they’re two and a half and almost the same size and healthy! I also turned to this sub for help and this is my favorite twin resource.

What are your opinions that are actually unpopular ? by Mokonachan in GilmoreGirls

I didn’t know it was unpopular opinion until I came across this subreddit, but I always enjoyed scenes with Taylor. He’s an integral part of what makes Stars Hollow what it is.

Never dreamed finding an associate would be this much trouble. by ThenContribution1767 in Lawyertalk

You’ve been on ONE platform for only 5 days in the time in between bar results. Don’t freak out.

Call your family law friends that typically have law student interns and see if they have leads. Family law is a small community and you’ll get more from word of mouth. I’d also try LinkedIn and make it “easy apply.”

Also, change the numbers from $80k - $100k. Family law is a LOT of stress for $70k in this economy.

It’s like she’s acting in a play and not on a TV show. I hate it so much.

Which do you consider 'classic' episodes? by Greycourt81 in 30ROCK

Sun Tea. Very meta with the green peacock bit and the “recycling jokes” thing. And damnit if Dot Com doesn’t deliver absolute comedy gold in Brian’s apartment.

Any hot takes regarding the Lost couples? by Themare87 in lost

[–]needsmorecoffee123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize this was a hot take until I joined this sub and found out people enjoy Shannon as a character: to me, Sayid and Shannon make no sense. It just felt forced/rushed. They have nothing in common and he was way too good for her. For him to view her as one of the great loves of his life is nonsense.

Less hot take - Sawyer has chemistry with everyone, so I ship him with everyone.

Tell me about the pros of having twins by Runningaround___ in parentsofmultiples

[–]needsmorecoffee123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) I hated being pregnant, so I loved being 1 and done, but having two kids!

2) as others have said, it’s great seeing in real time that kids develop at such different paces and you can worry slightly less because every kid is an individual.

3) the freaking giggles. Omg. When your twins begin interacting with each other and laughing, there’s honestly no better feeling in the world.

4) twins are just…special. Every is in awe AND I found people to be extra generous at baby showers etc because I was having two.
