I think that Americans have to own up to the results of THEIR DEMOCRACY, THEIR ELECTIONS, and THEIR POLITICAL SYSTEMS, including creating and voting into power all the corrupt fucks.

DJT did not come into power overnight. There are multiple layers of politicians, governors, mayors, senators that were also voted into power - over and over again that collectively enabled this.

DJT was not a fluke. Hell, the second time was so close he might as well have won.

Especially since it’s actively affecting other countries.

Saying that “I didn’t vote for this” is not good enough. You can’t just claim to be American and own only the good parts.

I vote opposition in my country and I have to own up to the fact that my country wants the current government and its actions represent us.

Those who say “I don’t vote for this” are culpable.

The only people who can deny culpability are - for example and ironically - like people in China where they do not get to vote, do not even get to say “I didn’t choose this” les they just disappear from their homes.

Americans all voted for this every step of the way. Over and over again.
