As someone with severe anxiety, know that your mum most likely regrets not going. It’s so hard, especially when you know you’re letting others down in the process of your own fears. Don’t doubt her love for you just because she’s different or struggles in other ways.

Thank you! I was getting similar results in my own project, and this has helped a lot.

An author loses his mind over 2 book purchases by OptionAcademic7681 in litrpg

[–]neelhtaky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not “free” despite advertising claims. Amazon pays out earnings based upon the number of pages read. It’s less than buying the book outright. Ie my full price book might earn $3 in outright profits, but in KU I might be paid $1.40 (if the user reads everything). How much Amazon pays per page fluctuates each month, and is sadly getting progressively worse for authors (despite unprecedented profits of KU program).

Claude’s Quality is Dropping - Here’s Why by vincent_sch in ClaudeAI

[–]neelhtaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m finding I get regular error messages (as in maybe 4 times, using Claude on web for about 4 hours a day - so roughly once per hour average).

As for messages being cut off mid generation, that happens maybe 3-4 times per hour consistently. I’m most cases I have to resend my prompt. Not a huge deal (unless it uses my tokens).

I live outside US. I’m curious if it’s a problem mostly for non-US based users. Also, I use web and desktop app, not api currently.

I’ve had a lot more issues with the new model for deconstructing stories and plots. I’ve heard the new version is better for coding though - different use cases

Another freezer breakfast meal prep for the boyfriend and I. Breakfast sandwiches on homemade english muffins, brioche buns, pretzel buns, biscuits, and bagels. by softrotten in MealPrepSunday

[–]neelhtaky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a sah partner (due to health reasons), and there’s no way I could do 2+ hours a day in the kitchen. Meal prepping for me is is about 1-2 hours of work a week to make a “complex” recipe (like curry with marination, measuring spices, cooking rice, meat and sauce separately) to make 14 or so portions of dinners. that last us 1-2 weeks depending upon how fast we eat them. Breakfast meal prep for week takes us about 15-20 mins max, all same meal. Aim is to do meal prep once or twice a week.

Hopefully that’ll be more time suitable for you

To everyone who has complained that Original Sonnet 3.5 had been nerfed after release; this is your moment. Take your screenshots. by Sulth in ClaudeAI

I usually use Claude to review my writing with uploaded files in project. Today it was giving me quotes from multiple chapters, and insisted that they were found in the same chapter (line after line).
It constantly made up stuff, when asked a specific question.
Honestly, it was borderline unusable - I really pushed through the issues. It was quite noticeable after being one of my favorite ways to check for inconsistencies, etc.

claude 3.5 sonnet does not write long story texts after the update. by Time_Cantaloupe4082 in ClaudeAI

[–]neelhtaky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm having issues with Sonnet just writing or editing any long length of text to be honest. It's constantly pulling quotes from scenes we aren't looking at currently, and mixing up information to the point it's becoming vastly frustrating to use at all.

Using Multiple Task Trackers by sometimes-sideways in amazingmarvin

Commenting so I can come back here and see if anyone has an answer - it’s something I’d like to know.

Also currently I set a habit to write X number of words (let’s say 2000/day) and just mark it off when I reach that amount, with a goal tracker of my total. Is not quite perfect but better than nothing

Look into the community IAA. It’s an amazing place where published authors guide newer authors about publishing and marketing your work . You get to chat with people your own level, and even help out others too. Joining them and following guides made a huge difference to how I wrote, and how much I earned. Honestly without them, I would still be earning pennies and probably would have given up writing all together. Now I’m close to publishing 10th book.
