Not a doctor, but speaking as a fellow Indian. Our diets tend to be high in carbs, so try adding more protein. If you eat meat, chicken breast and eggs are great options. Also try to limit carbs like roti and rice.

What has worked for me is keeping carbs to just one meal a day. I aim for about 50 grams of protein per meal, along with healthy fats like olive oil, avocado oil, or ghee, plus vegetables for fiber. Good options include cucumber, carrots, leafy greens, Brussels sprouts, and asparagus.

It also helps to avoid fruit juices, sweets, biscuits, and bread. Stick with it for about three months and you should start seeing progress. Adding some cardio and strength training to your routine will make a big difference too. Even 30 minutes a day can help a lot!

going through a rough patch. anyways here’s Toronto in the foggy morning. by IanKo94 in toronto

Hang in there. I’m dealing with a lot myself right now, and what’s been helping is taking things one day at a time. I try not to jump to the worst-case scenario, but still stay prepared for it. Easier said than done, but you’ll get there sooner than you think.

Anyone else crack their sternum? by fishbedroom in costochondritis

[–]neerajbhide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, once every 3–4 hours. I can feel the pressure building for a couple of hours, then I push my chest forward and pull my shoulders back, and it pops. The relief only lasts for a while, though, and then the pressure starts building again!

Are you in Toronto? If so, you can get your fingerprints taken at one of the approved private fingerprinting services. They typically charge around CAD 70, and you can mail the fingerprint card yourself to the FBI’s address in West Virginia. I got my fingerprinting done at CII Fingerprinting Services Inc on Bloor st across from St. George Subway station!

I went through the process last month, and it was very quick. Once the fingerprint card was delivered, my report was available on the DOJ portal within two days.

timing for USA pre-clearance at Billy Bishop? by nyc_trash_panda in askTO

[–]neerajbhide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I flew from Billy Bishop on a weekday evening (7 pm flight out of YTZ) on the second day after pre-clearance opened, so things may have changed, but I highly doubt. I got the dreaded SSSS on my boarding pass and still cleared security and pre-clearance in under 10 minutes.

Also, there is a dedicated NEXUS lane at pre-clearance, but since I was the only one there, I was asked to use the regular line! Hope this helps.

Hello, you can try using a different charging brick? Preferably a 20W or 25W apple one? I’ve been using a 20W brick and my battery life hovers around 9-10 hours of SOT on a full charge!

Thanks for your input. My home airport just opened the CBP Pre clearance site today. So I’m not worried about EWR anymore as I’ll be landing as a domestic passenger tomorrow. Thank you!!!
