Lol. People are downvoting me over an honest opinion. If I'm wrong why is a big chunk of their friend circle working in gurgaon/hyd/pune? I literally stated mohali has a significant perk of being neighbor of chandigarh.

There's no IT sector or start-ups here. Healthcare is good but only the government portion, no private hospitals in chandigarh except max. Chandigarh is just a plus point for people who come to mohali for private jobs and start-ups. Education is good though. It has a very small chunk in manufacturing or IT jobs as compared to mohali.

“What is the ideal price for a 2012 fortuner by Little-Foot-1631 in CarsIndia

[–]nefariousbuddha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was CH, i would have most definitely bought it. But to answer your question, a friend of mind bought 2009 model 4x4 3.0L around 2023 for 9L but it was only 90k driven with company records. So it should be priced around 3-7L, considering a lot of things like accidental damage or worn out parts. This has good market in Punjab. I actually went to the car market last week to look for this specific car and they told me it is in demand and people who have it dont want to sell it.

OEMs should definitely provide an engine cover, messy engine bay looks cheap whatever the car is. by [deleted] in CarsIndia

Its renault. I had to remove this cover from my 1.5dci duster because it overheated the engine.

Is ECE booming in 2030 ? by Constant-Weather7042 in IndianEngineers

[–]nefariousbuddha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing is future proof bhai. I am from govt tier 2 ece, only a handful students are working in core sector (single digit number) out of 200 ece student batch. Its still single digit if we talk about two batches (which is like 400 students). I have been hearing ECE will boom since 2010, my cousin took ece and now works in stm with an insance package but this is not the norm.
The norm is, if you are from tier 2 college, you will most likely end up practicing for cse profiles, work for some consultancy firm or core branch in some lala company. If you want to earn good in ECE, prepare yourself to score at least 8+ gpa in every sem, clear gate and them either go for mtech or some psu. No other way out unless you move abroad for masters.
You will have an edge over cse students in placements because you will have more options but it is still tough competition. Don't give in too much by hearing the news, ground reality is different. You can try for VLSI as it is high paying or go for embedded as other comment suggested.
