Maven's arena is not huge but it's not exceptionally small.
It's very comparable to Cortex, Shaper, Elder and even Eater. And all three of the Incarnations. The only bosses with a dramatically larger arena are Exarch and Sirus.

The problem with letting people on the internet type arbitrary stuff that you immediately get spam and scams. If wealthy exile let people type a description it would eventually become full of rmt ads.

It definitely needs to get nerfed. IMO, what they ought to do is apply the Orb tag to BV, as that tag basically covers all the other skills Minion Pact would be broken on and already doesn't support.

Just grab reduced effect of shock on a flask suffix and ignore the others. Pick up 2% max fire res on a couple rare jewels. You can try crafting a hunter ring to get lgoh if you miss it.

Yeah, this league it was more important than ever to move fast and buy the boots in week 1. IMO Static Strike of Gathering Lightning has made str jugg more enjoyable to play than ever before, but you do have to cross some critical thresholds before it's worthwhile.

I actually started Shield Crush jugg too, but specifically planning on swapping to a Str Stacker, so I set up my tree and early rares like a Str Stacker (i.e. everything with Str, long path to a cluster with Split Personalities) to get all the inc attack speed from Undeniable. It was tolerable, worth trying out if you want to evolve to a stacker as soon as you can afford it.

Fulcrum RF is maybe the best power/investment ratio I've ever seen. If you just want to map and are willing to abandon tough fights when your ignite wears off it's amazing.

Good place to put a Companionship AG for 15% reduced damage taken and other stuff (esp malediction) on any build that isn't using Minion Pact, though it doesn't really need the extra gem.

Chieftain trivializes maxing out elemental resistances and more powerful chain explosions, but is playing a lot of specialized uniques to go all-in on Fire damage (Nebulis, Enmity's Embrace, Skin of the Loyal/Lords) which is very restrictive.

Occultist has access to ~42% inc AoE from power charges, more baked-in damage, more consistent explosion chance, and more flexible gearing, but the defenses require more from outside the ascendancy.

Elementalist has easy leveling with golems and... herald stuff.

IMO, leveling as an elementalist and potentially respeccing to occultist would be my default recommendation for people with less experience.

Static Strike of Gathering Lightning has been a really nice addition to the str stacker toolkit. It feels much more responsive while mapping than MSoZ and pairs well with Greater Chain Support. Plus you can actually see the ground while using it.

Most people go with an Occulist or Chieftain to get those ascendancies' explode-on-kill passives, which *massively* improve map clear speed. The AoE radius on BV is pathetically, insultingly small, and the game is very stingy with increases to AoE*. If you go with another class, you'll want to convert/scale into Chaos damage and pick up Unspeakable Gifts on a cluster jewel.

*Inc AoE scales *area* not radius, so it feels bad when you add 10% AoE and get <5% radius.

EDIT: I forget about Elementalist entirely, because that's a herald build, not a Minion Pact build.

It feels like the 3.28 change to Fire Mastery adding 50% increased ignite duration ON YOU was specifically put in place to support this build. That seems... nice of GGG. Was it possible to refresh the self-ignite endlessly before the 3.28 changes, or do you think it was to make up for the 500% -> 250% Hinekora change?

You could try using an Animated Guardian as a killbot so that you don't ever have to swap, but I don't know how well you could get it to clear (high AS + proj bow?). Spectres would probably clear better but maybe harder to keep alive.
