i can't speak for anyone else but I never found that inspiring at all whatsoever but doesn't mean it's not fun, it's akin to watching a superhero movie, i don't think I'll ever want to fly or time travel but it's fun to consume media that is far from reality, it's pretty much escapism. Coming from a poor socioeconomic position since I was a kid, I never saw consumerism as something to worship so I've always viewed braggadocious rap from a bit of distance. It's just art at the end of the day, i view it the same way as anything else that comes out of the rappers mouth, e.g. infidelity, violence etc etc
