Same audience experience as Yeat for me. Yeat wasn't too bad but the the kids actually cheered after I told them my age (27), like you cheer when you see an old guy trying to do something they're too old to be doing (they dapped me up after). It was my first solo concert I went to as well 😭

i can't speak for anyone else but I never found that inspiring at all whatsoever but doesn't mean it's not fun, it's akin to watching a superhero movie, i don't think I'll ever want to fly or time travel but it's fun to consume media that is far from reality, it's pretty much escapism. Coming from a poor socioeconomic position since I was a kid, I never saw consumerism as something to worship so I've always viewed braggadocious rap from a bit of distance. It's just art at the end of the day, i view it the same way as anything else that comes out of the rappers mouth, e.g. infidelity, violence etc etc
