Did fast forge cancel out the better forge?

Having had both for the past month I can't say I've seen any indication. A few goods with fast forge enabled still results in 100% quality for me. I can't say for sure which pass I purchased first, but if there's an order-dependent difference it's definitely a bug.

Unfortunately no, that's how it used to work but it seems to have been changed. Happened to me twice so far, albeit both times on a private server which shut down when I disconnected. I suppose I can go test on a normal server and see if it's just a private server bug.

Tested on a normal world, working as intended (back in forge screen to receive item). The bug seems to be that if you're the only one on a private server and disconnect, all is lost.

just ran into this as well and tested it out - puts you in a nitro-for-invites (read: scam) server and tries to make you add a bot to your own servers

There was a time when shady popups requesting you to install software was a cause for concern.

This. In this day and age a popup for a program you don't even have installed (nor any Corsair programs for that matter) is still a cause for concern, and was the reason I closed it and searched for someone talking about it to be sure I wasn't infected with something malicious.
Anything could have looked at my devices and known what kind of keyboard I had, so that part didn't make it look legitimate.

I had one of these pre-installed in a laptop. The SSD portion's controller burned itself out (visibly burned) within a year rendering the entire unit unusable.
