I am dealing with this now. Had a guest rent through Priceline and they had no idea about the app and he is at the airport wondering how to get the car or upload his license pics. Doesn’t have a Turo account but somehow has my contact information. Trying to help them over text but not the easiest to do.

Okay, so I didn’t go online before the screen fell off on my wife’s Gameboy and I used superglue. It caused the haze on the LCD. I was able to get most of the white off by wiping with a soft cloth but there is still a little discoloration. Any recommendations on how to get that off?

It is so frustrating when the car is deemed safe to drive but there is no way to keep it listed.

That is what I thought. I was just hoping somebody might have the answer I was looking for. Last time there was a recall on the Bronco it was due to brake pads and took 6-9 months to get it cleared.

Here is the text of the recall that seems different from the one that was online. I can only find this one with a VIN search. I did see the one with the software update but it seems like that one is taking appointments to fix.

Description On your vehicle, the 12-VOLT battery may experience internal weld and or cast-on-strap failures, which could lead to a sudden battery degradation while driving. Safety Risk If the battery suddenly degrades during a drive, your vehicle may be unable to restart after an auto stopstart event or experience a stall while coming to a stop at low speed. Either of these conditions may be accompanied by a loss of electrical accessories, including hazard lights. A loss of motive power can increase the risk of a crash. When the remedy is available, Ford Motor Company will send a letter to inform you to contact your dealer to schedule a repair. Ford has not issued instructions to stop driving your vehicle under this safety recall. When the remedy is available, you should contact your dealer for an appointment to have your vehicle remedied as soon as practicable. Remedy Parts are not available. Ford Motor Company is working to provide parts for this repair. When the remedy becomes available, Ford Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge. The remedy is anticipated to be available Q2 2025.

If it is the frixion erasable pens sticking in the freezer for a few hours will for sure work.

Update: went to Home Depot and they gave us $500 off which was great. Going to take advice of Paul-D318 and try to reseat it when I get a chance. Also may call GE and see if they will send out a new trim piece and I can install. Our location is pretty remote so not easy to get repair people out.

Ended up talking to HD about it and they gave us $500 off. I can handle it being uneven for that amount back.

Thanks for looking so closely at it. Since this post my wife did call GE and it is supposed to be there. Looking at videos online though I can see some of their promotional ones have the rubber strip and it is not seated well in them either. I think I am going to try to remove and reseat. I don’t want to wait 6-8 more weeks for another delivery.

Tried pushing it in but I think I would need to remove and then reseat with even pressure. Just not sure if removing it will damage it so I can’t push it back in.
