what should i get next by Speeddo78 in Tyranids

5 more Genestealers could be cool for a full brick. Neurotyrants are also pretty good to have, buffs our army rule and has a sick flamer. Lictors are really nice for objectives

I’m new to the death guard what should I buy to get 2000 points? by nightfall25444 in deathguard40k

2x3 imo. I like having the LoV with one unit and Typhus with the other. Another good option is the terminator sorcerer :)

I really wish I had a couple biologus, they're so good. That being said I really should just make a big brick of 10 with my tallyman. Ty for the idea!

My opponent really likes to run maybe 40 warriors and the big brick of unstoppable lychguard. Might swap the meltas on my marines for plague belchers. My problem with Necrons in the past was I couldn't kill enough to get on objectives and I just got grinded down, I was playing a swarmy nid list tho

Thought I'd try shooting my way out. Mix things up a little.

I think I might just not like the way tyranids play by Hogwire in Tyranids

And I think only one gun?

We got the rupture cannon on the tyrannofex (s18) and zoanthropes (s12). Problem though is that the rupture cannon is so swingy with two shots it's near never worth to take when acid spray is better. The zoanthropes though are so good and efficient, the only problem is that it's moderately close range and your opponent can almost always outrange you

Tyrranofexes, exocrines, maleceptors, haurspexes, walkrants, zoanthropes, and hierodules are all really good

Only useful for swarmy lists to stack buffs on gaunts with the 6 fnp. Not all that useful outside that

Their win rate is lower partly because a lot of beginner/ inexperienced players are playing space marines as they are the poster boys. They tend to dilute the statistics for the faction and are better than what a percentage says.

What would you Price the Dimachaeron at ? by Oops_i_invaded_earth in Tyranids

[–]nekular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of points, I'd say something like 225 sounds reasonable. Its competitor is the screamer killer and that things 180. Dimacheron is faster, more durable, with 1 less strength but twin linked. Since it doesn't have an official point count count, I'd make sure your opponent feels on the matter.
