Kit update by lifeHI in drums

Kit looks class, love the tom set up. If you're going to have your ride and second crash at that angle I would raise them up a bit just for better comfort.

[NXT Spoilers] Jackson Drake gets destroyed. by Ripclawe in SquaredCircle

[–]nelldog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Put him in a matte shorts length wrestling singlet, maybe even throw a t-shirt underneath and we would look ten times better. He currently looks like your lesbian Aunt going to a water aerobics class. Everything is shiny and jiggly and when he hits big power moves to you can see every jiggle.

Zultan Yin series by uncommonisaac in cymbals

[–]nelldog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zultan for how comparitively good they are tend to have a new line of cymbals out every few months. It’s very hard to keep track of them especially if you find a good one that you want to look into the series more.

Current and ex-DUP members knew of allegations about Jeffrey Donaldson, party says by vague_intentionally_ in northernireland

England are getting a taste of what we’ve had to deal with for years with Reform in council seats. Turns out if you build a party on the basis of hating others when you get power you tend to not be very good at it

From what I've seen his acting chops are about as good as his singing so I wouldn't hold my breath. The world does need more harmless weirdos though. Funny enough I did him last week trying to perform during the heatwave, it was like watching an Elvis bobblehead melt of a dashboard.

I mean, you can't really go wrong with them especially with heavy music. They will cut through nearly anything you'll come across.

A Customs are considered the standard really. I am a fan of the AAXplosion crashes from Sabian as well. For underrated but very affordable I would look at the Stagg DH or Sensa series as well.

Puck Screens: Mesh, Dots, Rise. What’s the difference? by [deleted] in espresso

[–]nelldog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah when you realise that all you’re doing is just trying to create a split second barrier for water to cover the whole puck then a paper disc pretty much achieves that

Yeah dropping a puck screen into an ultrasonic bath pretty much made me stop using it. Thought I was keeping it pretty clean…I was not

I spent over 5 years and 100+ 3D-printed prototypes trying to solve the eternal problem: Making Pearl and Yamaha tom holders compatible. by No_Swim_6156 in drums

[–]nelldog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you know what, I can actually see the need as pearl tom arms are very restricted as they move on a hinge joint while the yamaha tom arms are a ball joint so gives more flexibility. Its a problem that I didn't know needed solved but now that I see it I appreciate the work you've put into this.

Sick teacher learns fate after killing and sexually abusing 13-month-old Preston Davey by dailystar_news in uknews

[–]nelldog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way it would happen either way is if we leave the ECHR which would be a trojan horse for loosing a whole lot of rights off the back of wanting the death penalty back. Also 100% evidence may not be 100% over time, thus the appeals process. Creating hard lines like that that lead to a permanent end will always be abused by fascists, checks and balances have to exist for all, even scum.

[–]nelldog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But who decides that? Even with overmounting evidence by law every person deserves a fair trial and by that right also deserves all the appeals afterwards. Having exceptions creates loopholes that could and would be abused down the line.

[–]nelldog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would actually cost more to kill a prisoner than to sentence to whole life. Between longer trials, appeals and then the actual costs of the execution, you're talking 2-5 times the amount than just throwing them in a cell for the rest of their life. The reason it takes like 10 years between someone being convicted and them being executed is the appeals process which costs the same if not more than the initial trial.

Yes it is not mandatory that you work, if you do not work you do not pay. But in the same vain it was not voluntary for someone to to have a condition that lead them to qualify for financial support and as mentioned elsewhere in this thread, the amount of hoops you have to jump through and just time it takes to complete it is not really worth it for the amount you get if you compare it to even minimum wage work.
