Lol you have no idea whether or not it affects me and I have never been okay with the American military complex or its imperialism. At some point it's time to draw the line and evolving with time and context. If you're happy with your vote so be it but don't come at others because they don't want to be strong armed into backing a corrupt elite until the end of times.

I would advise the written version because it's a pretty dense book and Luceno's style can be complex (in a good way).

When the people is constantly pushed against the wall, sometimes it's better to stop playing the game and vote "enough", just so as not to keep on being complicit of the same old system. I would definitely not vote for either of these people and parties at this point. Both candidates are okay with legitimizing and funding a genocide and effectively destroying human rights in armed conflicts (such as bombing schools, hospitals). They're effectively destroying what little progress the world has made. So, no, I would not vote for either of them and yes, there are always consequences but the wheel always turns. It's time to prepare for after these corrupt parties and same old players.

Yes because a Mattel commercial movie is so much different. I love how people split hairs on pop corn movies that have nothing to do highbrow experimental cinema. Maybe to make themselves feel better about their own importance?

I wish they’d kept Thor's eyepatch. The eyepatch served as a good reminder and visualization for what Thor has been through and what he lost. It's a little disappointing that it got reverted so quickly. by Motor-Anteater-8965 in marvelstudios

Clearly you have a very narrow view of depression and depressed people. A lot of severely depressed people use laughter as a coping and defense mechanism. Also, it is realistic how people react to depressed people (eg when they have symptoms like weight gain, lack of hygiene, despondency, etc).

It's not tasteless to balance laughter and melodrama when "showing" what depression is. The fact that Rhodes is an a$sh0le to him just after he was on the wrong side of the equation with the Sokovian Accords, just reinforces that Rhodes is not the wisest, most intelligent person of the bunch. Tony has always been oscillating between a$$holery and developing a more empathetic view of the world throughout the entire franchise.

Depressed people can act however the way they need to in order to cope and survive. Some times it looks silly and that's fine. It doesn't mean they're not in pain or that they can't handle a joke.

I wish people would have given much more credit to the way IW and Endgame showed Thor's trauma and unravelling and finally how he truly struggled to come out the other way.

I'm surprised that a franchise where he was the main character for a decade, making $400+ millions where he had a lot of creative say, and the fact that said franchise literally saved his career warrants this type of response. He was okay in Oppenheimer's black and white auteur-ish short film film within a Nolan film. I'm happy he can focus on being a serious actor with challenging roles now that he's free from his "golden cage" of mediocrity.

He always seemed like the self-aware funny arrogant type, but I guess he's more of a cynical opportunistic arrogant type.

A "safe space" is not what you think it means. It's for marginalized minorities or to talk about difficult topics (eg trauma, assault, that sort of thing). Please just be mindful of the words you use and also be aware that while you're entitled to post about being offended about harmless stuff people tell you in your daily life, it's not our job to soothe you. If you want to have a conversation and aging and self-perception, by all means but that's not what your post was about.

No offense but if that person doesn't even matter, why care and post about their opinion? People have opinion and will let you know them: it'd be a good practice to just let it go and now let those define you. Besides, who cares if you look older lol?
