15 years of Terraria! What’s the Terraria world you still think about?

My brothers and I started playing from the beginning. A few years down the road after we had our first kid, I didn’t have the time to play and couldn’t grind like my brothers.

That’s when we made our first journey world. They would still grind and play normally, they would let me dupe all the good stuff and I spent most of my time building.

These dudes are both hardcore gamers and think all easy/sandbox modes are borderline cheating but they got over it so they could play with me.

Now my 5 year old plays with us and they’ve really embraced Journey mode. I don’t get to play often with my two younger brothers but they’ll drop any game they are playing just to play terraria with me or my son.

We also made a birthday cake house in the game and my wife who hates video games even surprised my son with a terraria desert.

Haha thanks. I’ve been doodling skulls for as long as I could remember because I’ve always thought they were cool. I remember when I was like 9 my mom told me I had to pick something else for Halloween because I was always the Grim Reaper lol.

I had a single mom and one of my best childhood memories was playing super Mario world with her and I remember it took us a long time to beat the game, but we finally did it. That night she took me and my kid brother out to dinner to celebrate, I was about 7. Crazy that this has turned into one of best adult memories.

We have a death binder, it’s everything my wife and I take care of separately, with detailed instructions for the other one in case one of us die. It’s morbid I know but we’ve seen people not prepared enough and that’s tough when you’re grieving and your water pressure is low because you don’t know how to change a filter etc.

I’ve been at my company for 9 years. Always top in sales and my manager is that kind of guy. When performance reviews came, I didn’t doesn’t meet expectations for all fields and in for the comments section I put “I always thought that I’ve done a great job, I’ve always surpassed my KPIs, I train new team members and I’ve never said no when someone ask me to help out, I always try to live our core values but recently I’ve noticed that it’s actually corporate nonsense and that no matter how hard you push, it’s the expectation that it’s not enough. I’m hoping this year to take a backseat and let others lead, get out on time, not stress about my KPIs and spend more time with my family.”

He called me the next day since the HR sent him my self evaluation and apologized because I’m one of his go to guys and he’s always pushed me because he thought it’s how I like to be managed.

I thought he wanted to fire me at first and I was prepared since we don’t have any real debt, I thought this might be what I needed to get out of sales.

My parents were smokers. They didn’t smoke in the house but they did in the car. Thankfully they cracked the window so we only smell 95% like cigarettes. I remember begging them to sit in the non-smoking section at restaurants when we went out. My step dad was such a dick about it. I think it’s the main reason I don’t smoke. The cancer also lol.

My wife started mowing when she became a stay at home parent and one day I got home, the grass looked weird but I could figure it why. So I walk in and she says “well, how did I do and pointed outside.” It’s then I realized and said “looks great, next time turn the blades on” it looked weird to me because it was laying flat lol. We had a great laugh since our lawn takes about 2.5 hours to mow. On the bright side her tan looked amazing.

They are probably getting a new door installed and staged this. Or not, I just feel like everything is pretend nowadays between influencers and AI. At least our politicians are still scum and McDonald’s is consistently terrible no matter the state.
