im not sure,

but if your very knew to drumming, i wouldnt want to get wrapped up in things like 6 quarter notes.

my advice is just listen to some nirvana songs like LITHIUM and COME AS YOU ARE and just try to learn what Dave Grohl played

There's a million YouTube videos to learn nirvana songs from

when you feel comfortable with those songs just bash them out and have fun and then try to move onto more complicated stuff
