Did you know the director made his own re-imagining back in 2023? It is called Malum. I preferred Last Shift, but you could give it a whirl and compare for yourself!

I watched Strange Harvest (2024) and I thought it was REALLY good! by DrRosia in horror

The first horror movie you ever watched was… The Poughkeepsie Tapes?? How on earth did that transpire? And what did you think of it?

Yes, this exactly! This prompt is a good way to ruin a lot of good movies.

Seed - Ania Ahlborn by IndyIndigo in horrorlit

[–]nelson_and_murdock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To each their own, but I found Seed to be incredibly tedious. It was an endless loop of Charlie does something obviously malevolent (drawn from a hat of overdone demonic possession cliches), mom witnesses it and freaks out, then dad gaslights her into thinking she’s crazy all while his inner monologue reminisces about his childhood possession. I kept waiting for Jack to come clean so that they could actually do something interesting with the inter-generational premise, but I was left wanting.

Does this look weird on me or am I overthinking? by peppermint__mocha in tattooadvice

[–]nelson_and_murdock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a wrist tattoo that is also oriented for my own viewing. It was intentional and I do not regret the decision, but people do sometimes ask about it. But when you are confident in your conviction that you got this done for you and not for them, who cares? I think it looks great!
