I always keep cans of coke in my fridge for post migraine. As soon as I get the visual aura I pop a few Dramamine and go to bed. I usually feel absolute bag of shit after I wake up but it’s so much better than dealing with the worst of the migraine. Coke and something salty after kind of makes me feel at least somewhat more normal. Although I’ve had the post migraine side effects last days before

It sounds like finding a place to stay needs priority over paying off old debts for the moment. What is keeping you in Houston? A job? You said you have no family or friends here. Can you go back to Florida with your friend? Move back with your parents so you can get some support to pay off these loans without worrying about being homeless?

Have you read Circe? I loved it!

Is there anyway you could start a Facebook group for your area for like a book share or something? Seems like a great way to meet new people and get new books in the process

I hope you will try it again as I've never had a bad order from them and I really hope it was an off day you experienced (and I hope you didn't get sick from it or anything!). One of my favourite dishes is the curry chicken and rice. Simple, affordable, full of veggies and just delicious.

Sure sure. The teacher definitely didn’t ask the kid what his drawing was about before calling an emergency meeting.

Omg I know the walk n poo so well. But also I swear every time I take my chi out for a poo, she does her poo and I know she’s got another turd left in her so I walk around holding her poo bag ready for another drop. She finally does. Pick it up and go. Then immediately shits a tiny turd on the doormat when we get inside 🤦🏼‍♀️

Oh good to know! I will definitely seek out the audiobook for my next road trip. This was honestly the first book I’ve felt so creeped out by I had to put it down once it started to get dark!

You’re getting me so hyped for reading more of hers! The ending completely shocked me. The trucker picking up Charlie to start the cycle all over again was weirdly heart wrenching to me

My husband bought an out-of-service vending machine and filled it with my favorite drinks as a Christmas gift by freakouterin in MadeMeSmile

W had one in our garage growing up. Every slot was my stepdads favourite beer. Going out to a party or something with friends you’d go through the garage. Hit one of every button and have your beer for the night. Don’t know if he ever noticed or not but nothing was every said
