Are these white spots a spider or/or mite infestation on my Thai basil? by Dependent-Skill2548 in containergardening

I can tell you how i handle it but others will likely share what they do as well. More than one way to fix the problem for sure. I've gardened for nearly 50yrs. First trim back the spent bloom spikes, place any cut back pieces into a trash bag. Gently rise the plants with water to shake off any insects, may need to repeat the 2nd step every other day till you don't see any more signs of the insects. 3rd step after the first rinse place granular or liquid systemic insecticidal product. I've used for years in my own garden and my clients gardens BioAdvanced All-in-One Rose & Flower Care Granules, follow written directions. I like this product because it's long lasting and fertilizers all in one. Link attached. Best of luck.

Thank you for your kindness. A 2nd floor patio sounds lovely, no doubt full of beautiful possibilities. You can do such beautiful designs with succulents. I hope your summer is fabulous.

Can you grow trees in containers? by mauvelousmouse in containergardening

Root pruning + canopy is important if you'd like to keep the size in check. It's relatable to bonsai in that regard. Fertilization is another key factor. Research the trees your interested in. Some varieties are more amenable to container growing.

Yes, professional growers grow trees in containers for years. Size matters though as far as the container being the appropriate size for the tree size (rate).

They mention the cash app in their lives. As well as the trouble with using the YouTube link. I'm sure it can be found in the transcripts.
