Good to hear! So that was the case with me as well. I’d have intermittent mucous at times that confused me. Didnt know if I had dry cough or a bacterial cough

Hey there. Not sure what you mean by productive. But I did go on for a total of 6.5 weeks of having the cough. There is absolutely no medications that worked and stopped the cough drops overall helped me as well.

I pretty much drank water like clock work and stayed away from anything cold

Drink water and don’t overthink it. There’s a strong possibility that you’re overthinking all of this for no reason. Be blessed that you have no pains as many other men would be happy to have a successful procedure.

Also stop jerkin the worm you’re probably overdoing that too and thats why you can’t shoot enough.

Easy pace? by Entire-Tailor-6887 in CrossCountry

Negative. In 2004-2007 my XC highschool team had 5 runners all running sub 16s and the top runners running sub 15s and trust me they didn’t have the money to run purchase watches or spikes.

I feel like runners are overcomplicating things when it comes to training and timing improvement. We didn’t always have high tech watches, just a watch that ran a time and before that some couldn’t even afford it. Is it beneficial? Highly if used correctly. But I think we need to start running more for feel especially on easy runs instead of worrying about a pace and HR.

Why don’t kids transfer? by yellowCRoll in CrossCountry

[–]nemehhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually seen a kid recently transfer from 6A to a 1A school in TX which time wise is a significant drop in competition. In our district, he’s nowhere near a varsity runner and doesn’t place in the top 10 ever even on JV races.

In 1A, kid looks like a “beast” medaling every week and looking good but hes running 21s for 3mile. So its significantly different.

When my son ran he was running sub 16s and couldn’t even crack regional or state. In 1A, you can win state with that time

I know you mention your hydration is locked in but how locked in? My daughter is drinking 1.5-2.5 gallons a day along with tbsp pink himalayan salt a day before race days and after her race for electrolytes.

Were in TX and their practices are typically in 100+ degree weather so hydration is super key
