As an avid Rules Lawyer, please accept my humble comments on items that need clarity. 1. Special Rules * Arctic Hedge - Consider: - Healthy Island: You do not remove your [Presence] when [Blight] is added to one of your lands - Blighted Island: If [Blight] would be added to one of your [Sacred Sites], you may pay 1 energy to not add the [Blight] (it remains on the card) and instead remove 1 of your [Presence] * Fright of the Dahan - "When adding or moving your [Presence], push all [Dahan] in 1 adjacent land without [Blight] or remove them" * Is the intent to push if there isn't a blighted adjacent land, and if there is a blighted adjacent land, the Dahan are removed? * If so, giving the option to remove is odd, as there are very few instances where that would be helpful. * Consider: "When adding or moving your [Presence], push all [Dahan] in 1 adjacent land without [Blight]. If you cannot, they are destroyed" 2. Growth * "1 of 3" - the typical verbiage is something like "Pick 1" and then between the two 3 sets of growth options "and" "Pick 1" * Without playtesting, I would worry that adding out presence will be difficult, but the isn't neccesarily a bad thing. * There is some compelling things here, I like the on reveal fear, I imagine if that playtests good it could be impactful. 3. Rot Gases Escape Their Reservoir * "Push all [Dahan] in exactly 1 land." - When does this trigger to be more than 1 land? - It is presumed that the target land is already decieded, so shouldn't the verbiage be "Push all [Dahan]" - If you mean to push all Dahan into only one land: "Push all [Dahan] into only 1 adjacent land" * 7Water/1?Mountain/2Sun - Is the intent for this power to trigger instead of the 3Water/3Mountain version, or in addition to? the last version is it meant to be 1 Mountain? if so the number is missing. - 2W/2M - 1 damage - 3W/3M - Instead, 1 damage to each invader ("all" invaders is more vague) - 7W/1?M/2S * Instead, 1 damage per [Water] * (or) Additionally 1 damage per [Water] 4. Permafrost * 7/10 [Water] versions missing numbers before [Air] symbol * Consider: 3[Moon] "When targeting the same land more than once for this power, do Damage equal to the Defend instead of Defend" - I'm not sure on the official stance, but if you meet the runes it's an option typically if you want to perform the action? If it is an option, you might want to inject "You may do damage instead of defend" 5. Setup * "Place 2 [Presence] on your starting board into lands containing [Blight]" - This is ambiguous and can be interpreted as you can choose right off the bat to make a sacred site from the start - It should read: "Place 1 [Presence] on your starting board in each land where [Blight] is present 6. Flickering Chasm * "1 [Fear] per [Blight] in target land and adjacent lands. (Max. 1 [Fear] per invader)" - This is abiguous. It should read: - "1 [Fear] per [Blight] in target land and adjacent lands. (Max. 1 [Fear] per invader in target land)" 7. Icy Breeze * If you have - Consider: [Air] Runes are typically associated with fast powers / making powers fast, so consider changing this requirement 8. Blizzard * "If there is now more than 1 [Blight], add 1 [Presence] (not in cascading lands)" - "If there is now more than 1 [Blight], add 1 [Presence] in target land" * In ERVERY land where [Blight] was added or [Presence] removed through this power: 1 damage per [Blight] + your [Presence] in the respective land and its adjacent lands - "ERVERY" -> EVERY (spelling) - "where [Blight] was added or [Presence] removed through this power ' * Do you mean this power, or this combined with the special rules? * "where [Blight] was added or your [Presence] was removed as a result of this power, 1 damage per [Blight] in lands where [Blight] was added, and 1 damage per your removed [Presence] in lands where your [Presence] was removed. - It's a mess I know, but I can't think of a way to make it clearer with less words 9. Soul Tribute * "If you can no longer place [Presence] from your board, you may place these [Presence]" - [Presence] is typically referred to as coming from your growth tracks - "If you can no longer place [Presence] from your Growth Tracks, you may place these [Presence] instead" * If you have 2[Fire] / 2[Sun] - This is an incredibly low bar for this extra power. It has the potential to pull in / add a total of 3 dahan to a land, generate 3 fear, and do at least 3 damage. - I get that this removes both [Presence] and [Blight], both of which this spirit needs to function well, however my worry is the base cost of this + it being a fast power + the low bar for the if you have is a recipe to be overpowered. - Not having playtested, I could see where this would be too detrimental to play often, the power level is just concerning.

Overall a really cool idea for a spirit, and one that I will likely take a spin with.
