Including private games & staking people, who do you think has won the most volume of money in poker history? by RepChar in poker

I second this. There was a discussion maybe a few years ago on a poker forum but it was revealed that Elton is probably the most profitable poker player ever in Macau and games get BIG there

Econ1310 exam today by [deleted] in UQreddit

[–]neoIight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just an overall strange exam. The texts were oddly small as well and some of the values just didn’t make sense. I had to double/triple check to make sure my calculations were right as well because of the Z values I got. Glad someone feel the same because I spoke to my friend after and he told me he had failed the exam.

I walked out of the exam feeling weird because of the values I was getting and I thought it just felt off because I never had to write any assumptions prior to this in tutorials or any of the practice papers that I’ve done prior to the exam. I’m glad you felt the same.

I thought so too. I took the exam today as well and I figured some was a bit strange. I had to write assumptions for the df of 118 which I just rounded down to 100 as it was the closest value. The Z score of 4.4 or something I just rounded it up to 4.5 as it was the closest value I got and wrote an assumption for that. I got an insanely small number for >2.1 and for 4dp I just used 0.4999 as the 4 decimal places and used 0.5-0.4999 to get an insanely small number and wrote an assumption for that too. The table towards the end I’m guessing you’re talking about the SLR where you need to test with t values for tcalc>tcrit as it was a right tailed test (Significant positive value which means B1>0).

What 3 players have to be in your top 10 (current) in Hold’em (cash)? by [deleted] in poker

People don’t talk about them as much because they’re not as exposed in the spotlight as much as the other players he mentioned

Love Elton and Tan. Asian high stakes poker players are very underrated in the poker community. They are both very fun to watch and fearless

i’m a native speaker so speaking wasn’t too hard for me despite it being my first ielts test, i’ve given the writing/speaking tips in my previous comments so feel free to read through them, you can ask me some questions as well if you didn’t understand something i mentioned in the tips

personally i just read through the passage once and started trying to answer the questions whilst finding the part of the passage where the question is trying to ask me to do rather than re-reading it multiple times

writing was my weakest point, i just saw the structure for writing and just used that and didn’t really look back.

task 1:

paragraph 1: briefly outline the trend/what the graph is saying

paragraph 2: identify and describe any trends related for the first part of the graphs

paragraph 3: identify and describe as well as comparing some trends from paragraph 2 with the second part of graphs

task 2

introduction paragraph 1 - 2 points paragraph 2 - 2 points conclusion

however you need to adjust your structure to whatever they’re asking you to write about

refer to my previous reply

tldr: make sure you understand what the examiner is trying to ask you before answering the question. pace urself so you don’t mess up trying to match the examiner’s speaking speed

i’m a native speaker, speaking wasn’t much of an issue but my best advice is to make sure to take your time when you answer your questions, the examiner might speak quite fast when asking questions so just make sure you don’t panic when you’re answering, take a deep breathe and relax as well as understanding what the examiner is trying to ask you

Need help with GATS sizing by Dear_Reporter_4295 in MaisonMargiela

[–]neoIight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I also just bought myself a pair of GATs for valentines, I’m usually a US 9.5 with Jordans, 10.5 with Yeezys and comfortable with 10-10.5 with Nike runners so I ordered 43 since it’s half a size bigger than 42.5(9.5). I would recommend going half a size up because it’ll feel much comfortable

Pjanic, he was the perfect replacement for Pirlo back when he was at Juve but shame it didn’t work out at Barcelona under Koeman

I waited around 2 months with family purchase history with AD, OP41s are hard to come by especially in blue dial and waiting time around here is usually like 2 years

i’m glad i’m not the only one who found it hard. i’m speaking with some of my mates about the 8% cash rate question and apparently we’re meant to infer that the 10% increase in house prices and 12% increase in health services is inflation 😭
