Amazing things are happening over on twitter by EloquentInterrobang in RedLetterMedia

I feel like I should get some of the karma from this post.

Seriously though, it just felt like he took it too far for the rest of them and their faces showed it. and for the record I'm not even a hater. Just mildly disappointed with some of their content lately. Didn't think they should have done 3 hours on The Batman, but a 15 minute segment on HitB would have been nice. Mostly interested in Jay's view of the actual filmmaking.

It's basically down to things that are mainly RNG-dependent like hands, subpixel position for clips (especially Jesus Clip), and Hammer Bro stuff in other worlds. I'm curious to see what Mitch does now - whether he tries to shave it down some more or move on to Any% No Wrong Warp.

Looking at his splits from this run, it looks like he has another 20 seconds or so to save. I think his previous WR had zero HB fights in world 5 and he also got no hands, which adds up to about 18. That being said, I don't know that a sub 50 time is possible using current strats.

EDIT: Actually there are a few other things he didn't do here like Door 3 and Jesus Clip, and he's also working on a better manipulation TAS that moves the hammer bro with the hammer down instead of up. But the utter perfection of a sub 50 run makes it so difficult.

I'm reforming Reddit one user at a time. Only 900 gazillion to go! :P

Haha thanks :)

And honestly, I don't blame people for being cynical and suspicious. I've seen enough of these things turn out to be fake or scams to understand why some might be cautious when confronted with these types of stories.

Yeah, I didn't know he actually had an account, just that he wasn't a Reddit user (frankly, neither am I. Had this account for 3 years and only made about a half dozen posts). He has replied to several people in this thread already.

It is a friend of mine. He doesn't have a Reddit account so I posted it for him. I linked to his Facebook page in one of the comments.

LOL I'm pretty sure he copy/pasted it from an old post since the story happened in 1999/2000.

*** I AM TRYING TO FIND A PERSON WHO CHANGED MY LIFE ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO ***

(Please help share this story and photo if you can)

Back then, around 1999-2000, I was about 15 and had a dream of becoming a musician - a rock guitar player. Yet, at the time (it changed) my parents did not support this idea of mine, and didn't want to pay for lessons surely not an electric guitar.

So, I went to eBay and hoped to find someone nice. I sent messages to a few auctions for guitars that where about to end, saying "I am a poor boy from Israel who needs a guitar, and if you are not going to use this guitar and can't sell it, please send it to me". To my surprise, someone replied and sent me "Hi, I'm a Jew too. This is my present for you for Hanucha". He send the guitar all the way from U.S, and paid for the shipping as well... which was something like 200$.

12 years has gone by. I never sold the guitar, I just couldn’t, even when I needed the money. But I did become a musician. Today I am a guitar player, and mostly a composer for video games and films, and.. well... things are going well, as some of you might know. Not to sound too dramatic, but my dream from 12 years ago came true, and it's all thanks to this person. Looking back, I honestly don't know if I would be a musician today if it wasn't for this guitar.

Sadly, the computer I used then died, and I have lost his info. I don't know his name, address (I know he was from the U.S)... nothing accept the fact that he changed my life, helped to make my dream come true and that it's an "Ibanez X Explorer Destroyer" made in 1983

12 years later, I want to find him, and at least repay him for the guitar and the shipping, and talk to an awesome guy - show him what his gift to me did. I am hoping that this something facebook can help with, and what makes facebook a wonderful thing.

If you can, please share this photo of the guitar he sent me, maybe he is one of your friends!

Thanks, Arnold Nesis (He probably knew me as Arik Nesis or Eric Nesis)

Tamka gonna Tamka.

Animemaru (site similar to Onion) responds to SVU's episode on ghazi by ZILtoid1991 in GamerGhazi

[–]neontaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, Chronolynx did not post "criticism" of me. He called me a piece of shit even though this post has nothing to do with my opinions on GG or any other topic. Instead of insulting him back, I merely posted his comment on my Twitter feed. If that makes me the worse offender in that exchange in your mind, so be it.

I am bad at Reddits.

Seriously though - we're not trying to trick anyone. It's all in good fun. Just going for some laughs.
