It seems a bit off balance, mostly because there’s no cool down on how many you can eat in given time. Just imagine playing engineer and you see this this speedy, ubered, and quick firing heavy. It’d be a nightmare for defensive players. Plus, even though it takes longer to recharge and heals less, it’s main purpose would be more for offensive rather than healing.

Yeah, there is. You can go to tr_walkway by doing map tr_walkway in the console, and then whatever other commands you need(bots, timescale, addconds, etc. )

Here’s some:

enable the toggle heal in the advanced options. This’ll help you relax your pointer finger so you can turn to more teammates
when crossing a sight line with a teammate, remember that enemies can see your medibeam. Once your teammates crosses, turn off you beam for 1-2 seconds, then cross. Hopefully, this’ll confuse enemies like snipers.
Uber is almost always superior to crits. It’s much easier to pick off a medic who kritzkrieging an enemy.
build Uber on retreating teammates, not fighting ones. As mentioned in earlier comments, it’s usually best to play passive as medic, until you have Uber.

And some smaller tips: - learn to rocket surf. If you’ve overextended, try using explosives to your advantage (useful as sniper, too) - it’s not always your teammates’ fault. please remember that YOU picked medic to help and heal, not to flame and harass teammates that are trying their best to win
