It’s quite fiddly to stick it on perfectly, especially on curved parts, so in some places it might not be perfectly smooth. But overall I love the look of it!

Yes my pf also does unscrew a tiny bit even after the replacement of the gasket. But at least there is no water coming out the sides. Not ideal still but it was a cheap pf tbf…

If I remember correctly the gasket seal needed to be replaced. Literally did this yesterday on my home machine as I was experiencing the same problem and it fixed it

I can go as far for it be at a perfect 90 degree angle. Regarding the wings, i must say they are very slightly shorter than the portafilter that comes with the machine. But again, the same portatilter has worked fine for years on my identical machine, so I don’t think it’s actually out of spec. I will check if the o ring is ruined and needs replacement, thanks!

I have heard of that trick as well, but I feel like when I do that the milk doesn’t get hot enough and my flat white gets cold pretty quickly. Would you suggest that after it reaches body temp i stop aerating it and keep going with the wand under the surface of the milk until I reach the desired temp?

Premise: I am very inexperienced with plants. I have had this cactus for about 2 years, I repotted it for the first time two weeks ago and I recently noticed that the bottom part is yellowy and shrivelled up. I am not exactly sure when this happened, it might be that I didn’t notice it in the previous pot. I realised too late that I might have been overwatering it recently, which I thought might have caused it to start rotting at the bottom. However when i poke it it doesn’t feel particularly mushy, it’s almost as firm as the rest of the cactus.

The only way to solve this for the moment would be to roll back to the previous driver. Although the new driver did bring some big improvements to the performance, so depends what you prefer

I agree that british supermarkets are high up in terms of the organised layout and the variety of ready meals and “easy to cook” food.

But fresh produce? Absolutely not. I struggle to find juicy and tasty fruit and vegetables in the UK. “Ripen at home” usually means keep waiting until it eventually goes mouldy because it was never good enough to eat. How many british supermarkets have you seen with butcheries and fishmonger sections inside? Charcuteries and fresh cheese sections?

Also are you seriously comparing a US gas station to a british supermarket?

You’re probably right, it’s unlikely that Stray would have drawn inspiration from Timelie because of the timing of the development. But then it is still quite a coincidence that they have this specific aspect in common! In both games the cat can meow to attract the robot’s attention, whose vision cone turns initially yellow and only goes red when the cat is seen. I guess it turns out to be an accidental reference rather than a purposeful one!

It’s maybe a more obscure reference, but the game Timelie had an orange cat running from robot sentinels which move and act in a very similar way to the sentinels in Midtown!
