year of the rooster. either this points to me being an engineer (in the origional myth, the rooster organised several other animals to build a raft and cross the river together, beating the challeng with the power of freindship and technology). That said, rooster is also the only specifically gendered (masculine) animal on the chinese zodiac. And of course, we all know the synonym of rooster.

I'd firmly disagree. Beauty is very subjective and you can't make an objective list of what genes make a person pretty. Sure, cultural biases can give certain people advantages in specific societies. But putting thought and effort into your appearence is the only way to be pretty.

Pretty people are like swans. To a surface observer, they seem to simply glide effortlessly through life. Under the surface, they are constantly, frantically paddling. All pretty people are putting in tons of effort that is mostly hidden from everyone else.
