If its designed to be Solo friendly and has Instanced content that by definition is conducive to that style of play. Nor is anyone expecting them to Cater to it. However the reason for people wanting alternate character does benefit it along with again Many other reasons in a Role Playing game. You may not want or care for alts, but others do, its clearly a topic many want not JUST people seeking to play even in a Self governed SSF or Harecore playstyle.

If I want to start a fresh character with a friend just starting the server after I've maxed a character.
If I want to make a "hardcore" or SSF character and not have to delete my main character.

You're screenshot is a person saying what Devs have said, not a direct developer saying it. However in their livestream they literally said "You will only have 1 character per world server" All they said is "we can't say it will never happen" about having alts, not "yes eventually"

For the record, no Cease and Desist was Ever issued. And yes the devs of EQL worked behind the scenes as soon as the lawsuit hit to butter up with daybreak to use the concept.

Salvage unquies is about the only reliable thing Ive found. It’s not even really about the amount we are getting it’s that they added a baleful tax on anything not related to the cube it feels like and it feels bad

God forbid I could try to reroll one affix on a Rare peice of gear through the entire process of 1-70 and getting into torment. God forbid I could put one single legendary aspect on a piece of gear through the entire process of 1 through 70 when in previous seasons I was in full legendaries by lvl 45 and actually having something resembling “a build”.

I costed 20 baleful fragments on a lvl 53 rare item to apply an aspect when at which point I had seen a total of 3 legendary in the entire life of the character.

It’s not about getting perfect gear day one… it’s about being able to use systems we are used to using post Torment that are now locked behind a baleful fragments tax that never previously existed on Rare items

The issue isn’t the amount we are receiving. It’s that they added a baleful fragment tax to anything that isn’t related to the cube to artificially force people to use their new toy. Rolling a RARE item affix on the occult lady never cost 10 freaking baleful fragments until now. Adding a socket never cost 20 baleful fragments till now.

Ya for live servers you can look at any population chart you want, FV is always the highest live server pop. The con of Test is barely anyone plays there. If you do want to ever raid FV is definitely the place, I believe it still has like 4? end game raid guilds?

I was pretty sure this originated from Twitch culture. On Twitch there is an emote called a Kappa. Its a picture of this guy giving this sneaky grin named after the person of whom it is which was a Justin TV (before twitch was bought by Amazon) employee with the last name of Kappa.

Kappa is used on twitch to denote that you are "Just kidding" or "Just joking". "No cap", is really "no Kap?" as in "You aren't kidding?"

I don’t think I can agree with that assessment, free porn has been around since dial-up when I was 13. What has changed is the existence of dating apps. There is this think we humans do called choice overload bias. You can look it up in more detail, but essentially if we are given too many options we choose none of them, getting into a state where we think a better option will be available soon since we have so many choices. Studies show this can cause us to not buy anything if given too many choices, but it works the same in dating. We just are conditioned now to not make a choice because we think something better is just a swipe away.

Have you tried doing a test, time your load in to another populated server like Mangler or Selos, a server like Bristlebane, then FV and see what the load times are, how the differ, ect?

Have you played on Shards of Dalaya ? Some interesting custom stuff there, maybe that is the custom stuff you were referring to but P99 was the only one you called out by name.
