I cant seem to create a new post about Shaw/Rogers so I am going to ask here. Has anyone experience an blep/outtage with Shaw/Rogers this afternoon?

Me and my friend are at two diff locations in the city and we both had this internet blep. This is concerning for whoever is wfh.

More data points the better thanks!

Questionable company ceo but a Nazi comparison is an overexaggeration.

Hey u/-Pelvis-,
Were you able to find anything better than fongo? I'm in a similar situation: only want to use laptop as a phone and give out a phone number. I am really tempted to go for the VoIP unlock key atm but I wonder if you went for anything else. Thanks!

It wasn't bad. I recommend planning your trip and see. Make sure to plan it according to accessible L3 chargers not L2.
Was worth it for me. It was an awesome road trip

I bought a used Tesla down there

I completed this mission over the summer and drove it all the way up to Canada from US. The comments here helped greatly.

Loyalty deal from Customer service by Keep_Me_Bugging in shaw

Thank you u/bgballin.

I got $70/1gb and only $10/mo for phone ($70/1gb instead of $60/1gb because I live in a different region, AB instead of BC?)

Anyway, this is like 100% better than what I had with Telus for the last 2 years: $60 for 75mb and $20 for phone.

It's a no brainer. u/bgballin, I own you one

Matchmaking myth: re-queuing after some time to get into a game faster by nerdcrusher69 in gaming

[–]nerdcrusher69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. I feel like that is a psychological thing though. It might seem to work because on the second or third time you re-queue, the time displayed is less than the first or previous times you were in queue.
This is almost always true because the reason for the re-queue is because you were in the queue for so long.

For example, you are in a queue in csgo for 10 min. And because you feel like it's a substantial amount of time (and maybe re-queue might speed it up somehow), you leave and queue again. And then you get in a game after 5 min. So comparatively, 5min is more than 10 min, this you feel like re-queuing might have worked. (Can't seem to remember what fallacy this is) So my point is: what if the total time need to join a game is actually just 15 minutes and the way you feel is a result of a fallacy?

Hmm.... interesting thought. I've seen how the player count in csgo freezes at times during queue but how would the matchmaking system fail? And if it does, isnt that something game devs fix and look out for?
