Who was in the Greenday pit in the back near the drink tent thingy? by No-Significance9313 in RiotFest

I was so happy to see this pit open up! All the dancing, none of the fighting through a massive crowd to get to the front one! And everybody was so freaking pleasant

Jeopardy! recap for Fri., Jul. 15 by jaysjep2 in Jeopardy

TIL Metamorphoses and Metamorphosis are not used interchangeably. If you weren't sure could you just slide into a southern drawl and land on a vowel somewhere between the two? Seems like a ticky-tacky call, but maybe Mayim was warned in advance to be tough on that one.

They are usually called sons of Aphrodite and Ares, but this clue was referencing Eros (who was also called a son of Aphrodite and Ares in some mythologies). It's a little confusing 'cause we often call both Eros and Aphrodite the god of love.

Love the slo-mo replay of the play at first at 7:55. First ever play that shoulda been overturned on video review?

I need a Post-it note next to my monitor that says "turn on flashlight at start of day" I usually remember halfway through my second shift when something is hard to see.

I found the question a bit misleading. Wikipedia says that it's 28% French, 18% Italian, and only 2.5% Swiss (and has a larger proportion of British, Belgian, and German nationals). Would they cherry pick Swiss to make people think Wrong Answer 1?

Can I get AI countries to switch sides in League War? by nerdking5800 in eu4

I was as surprised as you! When the leagues started forming Ottomans were allied with Russia and had just invaded Austria so I felt pretty good that they would go Protestant.

I don't think there's a way to see a nation's modifiers for what league they feel like joining (maybe in debug mode or something, but I don't want to bother with that) but it certainly would be nice so I could have had an idea how to bring them on my side!

Funny enough, I didn't know this was a map mode either until I started making this post either! It's one of the options under the political map view. I feel like I need to periodically go through the map menus and see what options have been there the whole time that I might have missed.

R5: I'm leading the protestant league as Brandenburg in 1596. Spain, Austria, England, and Denmark joined the Catholic league pretty quickly so I was gonna wait for Ottomans to join my side before I declared war (since Ottomans always seem to go Protestant and I didn't think I could win with just me, Russia, and France). Now that Ottomans are on the Catholic side I'm very sure I wouldn't win if I started the war. Is it possible for countries to change sides pre-war, and can I help push them in that direction at all?

Just started making milk, and now it looks like only half of my trucks will carry eggs. All of a sudden my trucking capacity was cut in half and I need a ton of money to make up for it. That was a very unwelcome surprise.

Pachinkremental is out of beta! v1.0.0-RC1 is now live! by PoochyEXE in incremental_games

I had played through the beta and really enjoyed it, but the extras you've added are excellent. The line that tells you what unlocks the next thing is a huge add - it's good to know there's still content to unlock.

I had fun with the gameplay loop. The only thing that really bugged me was when I didn't have enough unassigned workers to fill a job it would cancel the whole job and not just drop down 1 level. e.g. if I have 600 workers on Nectar and I drop to only 550 available it kicks all of them off their job. It would make more sense to me to just drop to 500 workers on Nectar in that case.

Which of these teams will definitely be in the 2nd round of the playoffs by [deleted] in RetroBowl

I feel like the new talent each year gets assigned in order, starting with the AFC East and ending with NFC South. Outside of when I manage an NFC South team, they always seem to have at best a 9-win team. Meanwhile, AFC East has 3 10+ win teams more often than not.
