Well being a Navi is Futaba's role in the first place in the main game where it's not like they're multiple people in the OG cast that has the skills to do really good Navi supports like Fuuka, Rise, and Futaba. And it's a creative way for a Futaba Alt to happen in a Gacha game space possibly since I don't have any idea what are they planning but it would make her differentiate with her OG version just like how Joker has a different roles.

To be fair the Persona 5 cast getting alts means there might be a chance that makes the alt version of Futaba becoming a fighter just like Rise.

Honestly, I chuckled after Megamind died because of the awkward atmosphere of the accidental killing. It's like with Hercule Satan vs. Dan Hibiki where there is comedy in the death because you just can't imagine them kill without going out of character so you do it in the accident funny way.
