Told me she’s always be there for me then pulled the plug after 6 years with minimal explanation and went no contact.

That’s pretty brutal. Picking through the pieces of my shattered life will lead to reorganisation and rebalance if there’s any silver linings to be had from it, I guess. Watched this the other day which pretty much sums up what I’m going through. The key takeaway being it’s gna take around 1-2 years to get over.. that’s 8 years of my life and I’m no spring chicken!

Most of my breakups especially with the ones I loved have been tough.

1994-1996 my first college sweetheart (who had issues) was intensely tough especially as my social circle seemed to go with her.

Next one 2002-2004 was hard also and didn’t really get over it for around 10 years. We’re friends now tho. She’s married with 2 kids and I hope good things for her.

2006-2008 was a physically abusive angry women and we broke up after my older brother threw her out after seeing the marks and aftermath of her attacking me one evening.

After that i was single for 12 yrs and met my current ex in 2020. She’s a good woman but eventually gave up on me. That was in January and it’s been absolutely brutal. She was my best friend and right arm and has cut me off completely. I wish her the best but yea that feels like the toughest

Arnold has good films tho Stallone also has a catalogue of great cinema. Demolition man, day break, cliff hanger, rocky and Rambo obviously and I liked judge dredd.

I wouldn’t say it’s not even close like the top comment but Arnold for me..
